@@JonIsJustTooLoud I'm learning to play teaching myself guitar after many years of drumming...can't play here in apmt been 10 years so I write a bit on keyboard workstation then pick up guitar a noodle around. On my channel I uploaded one yesterday that was fun to do with it's fair share of sloppy. Lol.

I like this pedal. I’ve used a lot over the years and some expensive ones, but this one I find to be very musical and surprisingly like really kind of not noisy. It’s a very, very big level Control like it can add a lot of level if you want. I always run it at a much lower level to get unity than I would think. The only thing I feel bad about was that it was cheap. I keep wondering if there’s something wrong with it but I think if I paid $200 for it, I would think it’s wonderful.
Well not all things cheap are bad
tremendous pedal! I just bought it and compared it to my other compressors (MXR, boss cs3 and boss limiter enhancer) and I don't want to overdo it but it is on the same level as the MXR. good compression, perfect for bass, I recommend it!

I am using this compressor since two years.Excellent price/quality ratio. I also have this pedal mostly switched on for making my guitar sound a bit thicker (especially for my single coil equipped guitars).
It's a great pedal.. If I'm using a pedal board..I would probably get 2 of these ✌️🤓

Hi Jonathan. I bought this after watching your vid. It replaced my Mooer pedal which was ok but not nearly as controllable and refined as the Forcefield. Thanks again. Now I am after the HB T70. I am way over paying too much for good gear.

I was wondering, you used just forcefield compressor? I read in description about Line6 native, did you use a digital chain?
Yes it’s the Forcefield followed by the rest of the digital chain in my Line 6 Helix Native.
I believe they were taken over by Behringer. I have one of these and as you can see, they're great. Thanks Jonathan.

I'm just testing this on my bass : like you I have the sustain at 10 o clock and attack pretty much the same... If I dial a little bit more it gets like wooly and I don't hear the mids very well anymore on my precision bass. It seems to be pretty transparent in that position as an always on pedal ....

I love TC Electronic stuff and own the HOF Reverb and Flashback Delay. This sounds good also, but think I'll stick with my Boss CS-3! How would you compare the two? Thanks!
It's ok.. With just the inclusion of the tone control. But @ $24 Euros a pop.. It's a no brainier for me ✌️🤓
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Not bad on the price. They are 60 Bucks here in the states. I have a Behringer CS-400 that is pretty good for around $20.

Hi Mr. Jonathan, I want to buy a compressor pedal and this looks interesting, but then I checked the Hypergravity Mini by TCE as well, and I'm not sure which one should I buy, could you help me selecting one?
If you Have the budget, go for the Hyper.. that being said, the Forcefield is a great compressor too.✌️🤓
@@JonIsJustTooLoud, I've heard that the Hyper is quite good, but it's too expensive, then I heard about the Hyper but the mini version, which is a three-knob pedal, but I think that that makes a difference to the big one... that's why I asked if the mini Hyper version was "better" than the Forcefield... I have a guitar with single coils btw

Could give me ur opibion about the joyo pedals ? Are they a good udget pedals?
Some of the Joyo pedals are quite good. But some are not..the thing is your have to try them out. I actually have a Joyo Compressor pedal which I bought years ago. It's quite good actually no true bypass though. :)
