    Lightning strikes are common on commercial jet aircraft.

    Wow, that's the first time I have seen lightning hitting the plane from so near. It's cool, but also quite dangerous; the plane had been climbing for only a few minutes when it hit. For a 10-hour flight, a meal and a snack were not enough. That legroom didn't look so comfortable even on a 5-hour flight

      Yeah the poor gentleman in the middle seat next to me was visibly struggling with the tight legroom
