I have a 2030, that says she wants to play college soccer. While we are way off from this process and life changes could lead to her changing her mind, I'm glad these changes are happening now not when she starts the process. We have an opportunity to sit back and watch and be able to get a better understanding unlike 2025, 2026, and even 2027s.
Also, for the division 3 talk. I think that it's more about money. Any money. Maybe after financial aid and academic aid the price of a division 3 could be on par with some division 2 and division 1 schools?? But a lot of division 3 schools are private and just cost way more than a public university that's going to give a lot of the same academic scholarship to high performing students. This is the stuff we're looking at with my high academic achieving son who is starting to choose the college process now.
