Aventi trying to crack into that RM market with a bunch of fancy sounding treatments and materials on their watches lmao. Also the hype on the moonswatch is so silly. Selling for thousands online by resellers.. but they will be available to purchase online direct from swatch in the coming weeks.
@@stockholmpublishings2937 naturally your superior opinion and "insight" is worth more than someone who owns the watch 😂 where is this paid review that you speak of?
@@stockholmpublishings2937 I’m not sure where you come from …? I’m not a paid reviewer. I’m a watch enthousiaste and a happy customer of this product. Same - I was initially interested based on what Producer Michael was saying and it was a cheaper tourbillion option. But as time went along - I realized that they weren't the only ones in that game. Also, for me it was so much more than tourbillon and sapphire cases... it was name brand and appeal, complication, resale value is a big factor... the design, look, complication and the total package needs to speak to me too. As an example, I'm not into Patek Nautilus'.... but thats just me... cause it just doesn't speak to me.

i don't think he meant to compare it to a Patek, he was just trying to say that parts of the watch is made in same factory that works with Patek. But namedropping isn't very cool so he tried to make it a funny story instead
So Glad to see you talking about the Moonswatch. As a huge fan of the channel and someone who worked on the project at Swatch, I was really curious to know if you would mention the collab. Thrilled to see the team’s excitement and Roman’s positive thoughts about this.

I love the MoonSwatch content! I'm definitely a fan of heavy hitters but it's nice show casing watches even commoners can acquire. Particularly younger collectors.
Aventi, nice idea. Execution is terrible. That design is so ugly. Make it more streamlined and give it some more love and be creative instead of doing the 'same' stuff again. Also a name like Aventi won't get far in my opinion looking at marketing and giving it that special feel when you pronounce it.

I've been a fan for a couple of months now, and hoping to get my accounting degree. Umm how are taxes done with all these big dollar deals? Do you guy's have to pay sales tax, and then pay corporate tax along with that? Taxes would be a killer in some of these deals, like a 300k watch, your at least paying 25k just in taxes. Then at the end of the year, the profit you make off the watches, your corporate tax is around 21%. At the end would you be paying 29% taxes. Or are there accounting tricks to help with the taxes? Like expense write offs and stuff.
the buyer pays the sales tax, not the company. However you can get away with paying 0% tax if you have them ship the watch to an address in a 0% tax state
I think they only get taxed on gains. So if the watch is sold at $300k but bought it at $290k they might only get taxed on the $10K not the $300k. Same if they would sell for $280, they would report as a loss.
I don’t mind Aventi’s watches, but I find it strange that they’re picking and choosing clients and figuring out how to limit production to increase demand when they’re also trying to democratize tourbillons.
You're right, this could have been explained better by Ryan - we'll go into more detail in an upcoming RUclips series on our channel. In a nutshell: our production capacity is naturally very low, due to the rarity of materials we use and complexity of our components. We've also seen very high resale prices over the past 12-16months, so we have an application process in place which helps ensure the watches go to a good home: we prefer to allocate our pieces to people who love the brand and will enjoy the watch for a very long time - not flip it for a quick profit.
If Aventi can sell a Swiss made tourbillon watch in a sapphire case for under $15k at a profit, think about how much money Richard Mille makes for selling one of their sapphire case tourbillon watches for well over a million.
