Agree with this, never seen mask clean up done like this before. It's a simple but brilliant technique and explained perfectly. Thank you very much.

You got that right! Now that I am retired, I am always looking to find something new to learn every week. Adobe never disappoints as far as making you learn :). Thanks for the comment.

I am surprised how much you can give away to the uninitiated, and so willingly, without holding back. May your tribe flourish.

As always Mickey, an excellent video. Clear and concise. I have always struggled to use the subtract-brush effectively with any degree of accuracy but now ... wow! I never thought to use auto-mask but now you've shown me how it's done cleaning up object-selected masks will forever be a doddle to do, so thanks a lot.

Glad it was helpful! I am like you, love the masking tools but they always need a little tweak. At least they are giving us tools to make it better. Thanks for the comments!

Thank you once again . I tried out your advice this morning, what a difference. No more eye strain for me taking ages to clean out between the feathers on a birds wing. :)@@easternshorephotoinstruction
