      I would say Shotokan is one of the most practised styles in the world, if not THE most practised one. It is similar here in Germany. Most Dojo are Shotokan with Goju-Ryu as a close 2nd place. But since the early 2000s the situation started to become different. Quite a number of Shotokan Dojo turned away from Shotokan in favour of joining okinawan styles, such like Matsubayashi Ryu. Still Shotokan and Goju-Ryu are most pratised styles in Germany.

      Tekken is life bro. Give it a go. Even though they have made the game enjoyable at the casual level, it is a hard grind if you want to get better. Becoming a master can take years. Hi Sensei Yusuke the creator of the Tekken video games: 原田 勝弘, Harada Katsuhiro happens to be a black belt in Judo and Karate, so it comes to no surprise, that 90% of the martial arts styles, for the various characters from around the world, featured in his Tekken video games series, are realistic. Jin Kazama is actually Kyokushin Karate based, as in some of the previous Tekken video games he was shown performing our version of the Pinan Sono Yon (Heian) Kata, along with our Yantsu Kata version. He is actually provided the motion capture sensor moves, by Shihan Narushima Ryu who is a fifth dan in Kyokushin Karate, also a former Japanese Kyokushin Karate team, world competitor and champion in many tournaments, under Kancho Matsui Shokei's organisation. I am curious to know, who might have provided the motion sensor movements, for this new female, Karate character. You did an excellent job on re-enacting her Karate movements from the video game Sensei Yusuke 🇲🇽🇦🇺🦘🐨🥋🤟👍😊✌Osu!

    • @Soldier-of-God.
      @Soldier-of-God. 3 года назад +6

      @@heyjeySigma dude your comment is the dumbest logic in the West we address martial arts teachers by their ranked title, followed by their name. Look at the Karate Kid and Cobra Kai for example, they say Sensei John Kreese, or Sensei Johnny Lawrence, not Johnny Lawrence Sensei, or John Kreese Sensei, you goose. Jump on Shihan Cameron Quinn's RUclips channel for example, during his Kyokushin Karate broadcasts, everyone in there addresses him as Shihan Cameron Quinn, not Cameron Quinn Shihan, you are definitely a keyboard warrior, with nothing better to do!
      Sensei Yusuke Nagano would have told me himself, if I was addressing him inaccurately, when it comes to the order of his martial arts title, followed by his name, in the English language. If I was conversing with him in my limited Japanese language capacity, then yes I would be addressing him, as Yusuke Sensei.
      To make it even clearer, by your cretinous logic should I be addressing people with their full name and surname, the Oriental customary way? For example as they do in Japan, China, Korea and so forth, such as for example Nagano Yusuke when conversing with him or about him with someone else in the English language? Or should it be the customary, typical manner, as they do in the West, whereby a person's first given name, followed by their surname (family name) order? Which would be Yusuke Nagano. Clearly you are someone with boredom and nothing better to do, having childish, silly logic. He himself introduces himself in his RUclips videos at the beginning of each segment, as Yusuke Nagano, not Nagano Yusuke, as he is addressing a Western audience, not a Japanese audience. So my logic stands Sensei Yusuke, as I am conversing in English. When and if I am in Japan or speaking to Japanese people, in the Japanese language, then sure I would switch to the culturally, linguistically appropriated order around and address him as Yusuke Sensei. Simply put mate, when in Rome do as the Romans do, as the famous saying goes. I never claimed to be a Japanese language expert, so where are you getting off, implying that I said so? My students under my master at his dojo address me as Sensei Michael for example, my master as Shihan Robert for example, not the other way around as Michael Sensei, or Robert Shihan. So in conclusion get a life, also live and let live!

Jako laik nie mam pewności czy tak będzie ale uwarzam , że jest takie ryzyko. 1:23 The double kick can be made, but you have to move like a cat in the air to do so.
    (I needed to see it in slow movement 1:4)
    Kick i see is, sorry for my spelling i normally not read it: Maigi, (Doljothacki similar kick Taekwondo) or Side stop kick can't remember name.
    I think I done it before the combo kick.

    Dude, you should definitely play the game, if only to see how much deeper the shotokan rabbit hole is with this character. Not only does she have moves named after kata, like Heian Shodan (she does a gedan barai followed by a oi zuki), Gojushiho (she does a kind of shove with both hands, I'm not sure how it applies to the kata since I never learned it, but watching a gojushiho sho video makes me think it looks like the second ki-ai at the end), Bassai-zuki (yama zuki), jion upward thrust (she does the uppercut kinda move with the non striking fist on the elbow of the striking one, just after manji uke after the first ki-ai if that makes sense?), gankaku (front leg keage followed by oi zuki), kusanku (the nidan geri + uraken uchi combo); but some of her non kata-named moves are distincly from kata!
    For example, she has two simiarly named techniques that aren't strikes but set ups for strikes. The first one is Cat Foot Stance 1, and it's a neko-ashi dachi with manji uke, which I KNOW is from a kata, just can't remember which. The second, cat foot stance 2, is that move we see in Enpi, Gojushiho sho and maybe others, when in neko ashi dachi, you know, that part where one hand ends up palm up, and the other palm down?
    Another move, sashi-te (should put the game in japanese to see the kanji because I have no idea what it's supposed to mean), is the shuto uchi with the other hand by the forehead, as seen in Heian Yondan, Kanku, etc...
    Magpie strike: that technique from enpi where you strike down while crossing the other arm in preparation for gedan barai.
    Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon: while not from a kata per se, it's often seen in competition as a bunkai for Unsu, specifically the two grounded mawashi geri. If you look the move in game, it should become obvious.
    White Whale: the first move from Heian Nidan
    Swift High Jab: while actually a gyaku zuki, so not a jab, it kinda looks like the mae-te zuki in all but name, that you see in competition.
    Those are the most obvious I could find, but I'm pretty sure there are more. My point is, the shotokan levels are NUTS. She also has moves that you don't see in shotokan, like a brazilian kick (or question mark kick), a tornado kick, low sweep, etc... But other than that, her shotokan is extremely solid, I'm thoroughly impressed.
    Seriously, if you can't play the game, you should at least watch a moveset video of her, it has already popped on youtube, and see all the moves and how they look like moves from kata. If I'm being honest, after more than 15 years since I stopped karate, this is the first time I'm that excited to start again :)
    EDIT: oh, I found another: Vacuity (which is part of a complete move, but just the first part is interesting) is the jump from Enpi. I also decided not to include Gyro (the heian sandan parry) and Enlightenment (the kururunfa combo) because you already did it.

    • @a.rheser8181
      @a.rheser8181 3 года назад +5

      True. She does Kanku dai in the beginning of the launch trailer and the heian Katas all come from Kanku dai. She also has certain single moves or combos from other kata, they are named after the Katas in her move list, for example the signature move of Gojushiho sho is there, simply called Gojushiho in her movelist. The devs really put some thought into this, it’s legit.

    1:36 this is actually possible. I tried and pulled it off.
    I can help you get it.
    1. Do a regular jump roundhouse kick and land on your non kicking leg with the kicking leg chambered in air, Then do the hook kick from the kicking leg
    2. After that, do the jump for the first kick but don't do the kick, only chamber, then after landing with the kicking leg in air do the hook kick.
    Then Try to slowly do both kicks before landing, I am sure you will get it. It's actually easier than it looks.👍

      It's a mae geri -> mawashi geri.
      It's not too diffficult, as the mawashi geri is done on the way down - you can see that she finishes the second kick just as she lands on the ground.
      Just do your mae geri as you're going up.
