Michael I agree. I have always liked him, Lefty bias, but some of the way he is outside this gives him a bad rep. Of course media turns him out for being emotional on the course. However, that is where they make their money. This was great to watch
11:35 I used to think the same thing, but Wayne Gretzky holds some records that will NEVER be broken. The nickname "The Great One" was right and truly earned by him.
Golfers, bowlers, people who play darts, etc are in their -selves not good athletes. They play leasure sports that do require a very high level of technical skill. That does not mean there are not great athletes who play golf, etc.
I was a quarterback and a very good athlete. Not sure of the correlation. There is a reason most golfers are golfers, with some exceptions. How many really good golfers you know who excelled in other sports?
I dont think he has to break the major record to be the greatest ever, injuries took their toll on the numbers. And Beth page is fun because of the jeering
they keep talking about Koepka likes he's such a powerhouse physique. Really? watch the long drivers now, they all could all walk into any nfl training camp and they would immidiately get a uni and a locker.
dan cooper ya and put them on Bethpage Black were Keopka just won and they’re not breaking 80. The point isn’t Keopka is the biggest or strongest man on earth. The point is that a guy that could easily be in Long Drive Competitions is also scrambling and putting better than most tour players.
John Daly was athletically gifted. Massively. Who the hell else can drink and smoke, party and eat like crap then roll up and win a major whilst out driving EVERY OTHER PLAYER.
Sorry, but when he talks about club angles and baseball players finding different arm angles and seeing pitches better, it sounds like everyone who was trying to explain why Lance Armstrong was winning the 1999 Tour. We know what's happening here. And was DP trying to get him to talk about buying The General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard (in 2012 for $110k)? But he makes no mention about that. That's a weird thing to be "Dodgy" about.
I agree. Bethpage Black is NOT fun. If it's not fun for a pro, then is supposed to be fun for me? I played it 3 times. Never again. Bubba is one of my favorites. Going out to Waffle House after the Masters win was a classic.
I played it twice. First time was the year before the first Open, in July, 104 degrees! Tough course to walk, but the tees were up and we finished in the dark. I was a 5 handicapper back then but didn't drive it well and shot 74. I thought the pros would tear it up. Will be there next week and I hope Tiger is in the mix on Sunday. That would be epic!
@@MoMoMyPup10 Hopefully you played it after the redesign and refurbishment. When I played it it was back in the 1960s when it was kind of like playing in the Mojave Desert.
@@rlevitta-- I heard about that time. May dad was a club pro in Nassau and played it many times back then. He also thought the pros would go low there. I played in 2001 so my guess is that the first refurbishment was all done. But I do remember asking the desk pro if they were going to do something with the greens before the Open. He laughed and said 'why'? I just thought they were too flat, but apparently they've never touched them. The length and the rough (and hard and fast greens with subtle undulations) were enough to keep the scoring down. I played it again a couple years later but played horrible. Very curious to see how the PGA sets it up compared to the USGA. And I praying NO RAIN this time!
Got to say guys I know at times bubba gives off the wrong things at times shall we say ....but I watched a 45 min documentary about him and wow what a gent and great guy I was not a massive fan of his say and not for any great reason but after watching that I was definitely respecting him on a big level what he done opening that hospital also doing so much for his local community and nationally also he's actually a very sensitive guy just doesn't seem it on the golf course
I think he either sold all his cars because of the Chevy Dealership or he has a deal with Chevy that he can only drive their cars and he can’t admit he owns others.
@Jacob Hanson They weren't considered traitors. The states had more rights back then. You should try reading a book once in a while instead of watching bagel eater run news.
Depends how you approach the game of course, but Dustin Johnson won at Riviera two years ago having to play around 30 holes on Sunday. I dare you to try it... its tiring.

Great interview. First time listening to Bubba, another good guy to cheer for.
Check out the interview on Fore Play golf , it's a good one.
Love Bubba, funny honest down to earth guy
Bubba, sounds like such a fun guy to hang with.
Bubba is such a good dude!
Wow, Bubba really cares for Tiger. This was a great interview.
bubba is such a cool guy and so funny
This was one of the greatest interviews I've seen
"Do you have Tiger's cell phone?". "I don't have his cell phone but I have his number though". haha not sure if he was being sarcastic or not.
I love how all these Top 25 golfers are scared of Tiger --- the fear is palpable in their voices
Bubbas a jokester. Obviously he’s being sarcastic

great interview ,Dan! Please feel better!!
Bubba is smart too.
Dan "I got to play it twice". Bubba should have said "Well I won it twice"
Just what I thought and he should've followed it with a "what?"
More interviews like this!!
Bubba is so authentic man. There is no front with this dude. Just a joy to watch on the course and off
lol ok
Bubba Watson seems a pretty good guy. His love of Tiger is great too. He realizes what Woods has done for modern day golf.
Brooks Koepka is fucking amazing...taking the game to a new level.
Great interview!
How could you not want to play a round with Bubba Watson? Two-time Masters champion, "Bubba".
What a wonderful character...and, talent!
To me another amazing Accomplishment is winning three consecutive Junior amateurs then three consecutive US amateurs. Nobody’s ever done that!
Cars, straight to launch angle? Yeah great interview.
lol
It's a known fact, when Tiger is playing well, golf is better for everyone. Never has there been another golfer who has that kind of influence.
Bubba need sto do more of these type shows because he really is a ggod dude, nut his reputation is not that great as far as the Tour goes.
Maybe he's misunderstood? I love Bubba. What a great sense of humor.
