Can Those With Lived Experience Fix The Housing Crisis In The UK?

I spoke today at a housing forum to raise how people with lived experience can help to fix the current rigged housing and homelessness system.
We have 111 Homeless Organisations In Brighton and Hove and its like a Pyramid Scheme of referrals and funding.
I would like to see mass reform and a charter of rights for everyone with lived experience adopted which places them in decision making roles, across the system.
Unification / reintegration of third sector services into our local council to reduce the numbers, leaving more truly independent organisations, run by those with lived experience.

So glad to have heard this.. I have lived experiences..and long to be employed .. I would like to speak with you about my hell in “ supported housing “ which resulted in my mental health deteriorating to the point of being sectioned under the mental health act..
My personal story is over a 20 year period.. ..Well done for your voicing exactly how I feel .
