    Hope you get ride of them and that your trees keep on being beautiful . Your product seem to work well 👍
    I had trouble with grain bug in my lawn since 3 years and after treating them with a solution of water ,soap and vegetable oil and also a chemical product I think I got rid of them . They appear in the hot summer time and eat the roots and then the grass comes yellow and dies and always in full sun spots .
    Hope your project is going good in building your nice cabin 😉👍
    Have a nice Sunday

    Thank you for this information, I was wondering what all these caterpillars are. They are all over my aspen trees. So many of them all climbing up. I did not know what they were. They seem to have slowed down here lately. I was finding black spots under leaves that looked like thousands of eggs. I pick them off and now my young trees are looking better.

      @@LivingtheSilverLife little tiny brown hard shell bugs. They don’t bite. A got here in the RV path used some bug killer in the trees. He said the ground was covered. At least a million of them were on the ground.

    We were coming back through California 3 years ago and they stopped us at the border. Said our home area was not on the list for having the gypsy moth but they wanted to look in our cargo camper anyway. Personally, I think she was hoping to catch us with something. I was so mad! Not sure I’ll ever go back to California! But glad we don’t have these moths. I have heard they’re bad news.

    • @LivingtheSilverLife
      @LivingtheSilverLife  Год назад +1

      They really are, but like you, that seems weird that they would be looking for them when they stopped you. I think she was trying to catch y’all with something else.

  • @ahayseed654
    @ahayseed654 Год назад +1

    I would suggest treating for them, for more than one year. My guess is you have all stages of the Gypsy Moth every year. The Seven Year Locust hatches every year. It just takes 7 years for it to go through it's cycle. Some years may have more moths than usual but they are probably present every year, as caterpillars, just not as many.

    Interesting video! Hope it works and you don't lose any more trees! 🤞 We have the opposite problem in Europe. It's called the processionary caterpillar and eats conifers but not deciduous trees. Plus their hairs cause skin irritation and can even kill pets! 😨 Rumoured to be spreading into the UK now too, with rising temperatures! Best of luck with yours👍😁

    • @LivingtheSilverLife
      @LivingtheSilverLife  Год назад

      I hope so. People have been telling us that they aren’t really gone, there just isn’t as many of them during the odd years. We can definitely deal with that better.
