The log ride would be our favorite as well, as it's so fun to be in the water while on the ride. Love that it was 9 minutes long, and it's rare that they're that long. The Stratosphere ride was no joke, upside down, and spinning! Sounds like quite the combo. LOL. The bumper boats looked fun, and great job Peter on being the GOAT! The Lemongrass chicken that Yen was eating, looked amazing in that soup. Glad to see you had a fun date day together. Love you guys to the moon and have a great week! 💖🌛😊🥰

If your into water themed on a much smaller scale come down to, Hastings in summer only and only during school holidays and wkends and check out the water park called splash planet. It’s not open 90% of the year

Every time I used to go to this amusement park with my family on my birthday, I only wanted to go on the Pirate Ship, the Gold Rush, the Log Flume, the Dodgems and play at the arcade centre, just to avoid going on the big rides. Now I'm brave enough to go on all the rides at this place, including the Stratosfear.
I have gone on all the rides I just haven’t been brave enough to go on the stratosphere my mum wouldn’t let me go on it unless I went and did the 360 so I didn’t go on it at all

I lived in Auckland for 14 years but I dont recall that I ever went to Rainbows end. Mind you, I was already out of school and working by the time I got to Auckland, so it did not appeal to me since I had no children at that time.
Here in Western Europe we are absolutely spoilt for theme parks - I think there are at least 5 within a 1,5 hours drive from our home. My son of 5 is totally fearless and wants to go on all the wildest, scariest rides but can't because of age and height restrictions. But that doesn't stop him from standing next to those meter signs to see if he has grown enough this time. With little bit of luck, theme parks will open up again this summer, because like everything, they have been forced to close about 6 months ago now. I'm glad the tsunami was limited to some wilder waves and that everyone's ok there!
Hahaha 5 years old is like the best time for theme parks. So much imagination and seeing the parks as a child must be so magical. Yes 🤞many things open up as things finally go back to normal. So glad that the tsunami turned out to be a non event we were all worried for the worse...

Great video, just got a few quick questions. What was the timetable like? Did each ride have multiple times on the time table? If we wanted to just go for a half day would we still get to do all the big rides? Thank you!
Yes I believe it did.. and I think if you go early enough half day should be ok if you make it to each rides scheduled time ok 🙂 They provide the time table when you get there. Also pays to check their website for scheduled maintenances for days when they close certain rides!
A lot of new rides since I was last there in the early 90’s we had a pirate ship, mini Formula One racing track also dodgems on and the little remote boats u controlled from the bridge

Rainbows end is like the best theme park in Around New Zealand, best attractions for tourists. Auckland's best attractions if your exploring around New Zealand. I highly recommend going before rainbows end closes down. The Fear fall is what you should watch out for in Case you know, it might collapses. Though its the best theme park in all the world if you're a New Zealand, Like me but also a Maori & Islanders

I lived in Auckland for 14 years but I dont recall that I ever went to Rainbows end. Mind you, I was already out of school and working by the time I got to Auckland, so it did not appeal to me since I had no children at that time.
Here in Western Europe we are absolutely spoilt for theme parks - I think there are at least 5 within a 1,5 hours drive from our home.
My son of 5 is totally fearless and wants to go on all the wildest, scariest rides but can't because of age and height restrictions. But that doesn't stop him from standing next to those meter signs to see if he has grown enough this time.
With little bit of luck, theme parks will open up again this summer, because like everything, they have been forced to close about 6 months ago now.
I'm glad the tsunami was limited to some wilder waves and that everyone's ok there!
Hahaha 5 years old is like the best time for theme parks. So much imagination and seeing the parks as a child must be so magical. Yes 🤞many things open up as things finally go back to normal. So glad that the tsunami turned out to be a non event we were all worried for the worse...

Great video, just got a few quick questions. What was the timetable like? Did each ride have multiple times on the time table? If we wanted to just go for a half day would we still get to do all the big rides? Thank you!
Yes I believe it did.. and I think if you go early enough half day should be ok if you make it to each rides scheduled time ok 🙂 They provide the time table when you get there. Also pays to check their website for scheduled maintenances for days when they close certain rides!

A lot of new rides since I was last there in the early 90’s we had a pirate ship, mini Formula One racing track also dodgems on and the little remote boats u controlled from the bridge

Rainbows end is like the best theme park in Around New Zealand, best attractions for tourists. Auckland's best attractions if your exploring around New Zealand. I highly recommend going before rainbows end closes down. The Fear fall is what you should watch out for in Case you know, it might collapses. Though its the best theme park in all the world if you're a New Zealand, Like me but also a Maori & Islanders
