For me it's still jbl VS samsung... Just how they sound, I'm not going to give samsung credit for something better while something truly from them isn't all that. I do get your point though
The port of Samsung is facing down so the carpet might have absorbed some bass and I know that because I have Samsung MX T70 with the port facing down. Carpet in or out JBL 710 has deeper and louder bass.
I got the same deal as you and this speaker hits HARD for that $350 price. You absolutely hit the nail on the head with the garbage app support. It is embarrassing that Samsung put out such good products in this speaker lineup and then falls short on sometime so simple as app support. I put this thing on my front porch and turned it up and it sounded like I had a freaking block party going on. It really opened up outside. Total bummer about being plug in only and that is my biggest gripe. I also had the 210 watt variant and sold it to a friend with this upgrade. I love that every model can sync together seamlessly but I definitely miss the battery on the other model.
Wish the Sony 800/900 had a little better sound. They have tweeters in multiple angles and really makes it sound larger as you can put it in the middle instead of at an end. Just not enough bass and clarity is just a bit behind jbl as well.
i have the samsung mx before the st90b, it was decent as a bluetooth speaker but better when i plugged in my phone to it with the 3.5, esp. with an amp. the speaker itself is good but samsungs bluetooth software sucks. makes the speaker sound okay, then theres the annoying part of it resetting the sound to basic everytime you turn it back on.
Compre el ST90B en 800$ hace unos 8 meses pero ha llegado al Ecuador en Partybox Ultimate en 1290 y en tarjeta de crédito 1395 vale la pena vender mi Samsung y adquirir este Partybox Ultimate. the partybox ultimate does have more bass about 20-25% more and better sound because of the mid drivers but in terms of loudness they are similar i dont know if the ult worth more money but i wish you are happy with you purchase if you want you can see the comparison in this chanel between the ult and the 710 May Jesus Christ bless you

@@davidgavilanes look the ult tower 10 is little louder not a very big difference in volume but one the other hand the ultimate have twice as much base with a much cleaner sound. The ult tower 10 in high volumes it sounds screaming not very clean. Also you have to consider price and look the ultimate is better looking but also more expensive to be honest i would just get two 710s they would destroy the other two in bass and loudness but i wouldn't think having two 710s is very ideal since i got one and i did a party i would say this thing is overkill having people complaining about the bass and when i raised the volume higher it was too loud for them and for me.Since i said me i would like to mention that i have tested various speakers from pa to hifi and i would say that this 710 impressed me more than anything because it has that loudness of a pa speaker that destroys your ears while it has that good sound quality of a hifi system.I am not saying that there aren't louder pa speakers and also hifi speakers with better sounding quality but this 710 is truly impressive may Jesus Christ bless you

@JaysStraightUpReviews that's what I was thinking. Good review, by the way. I know this is off the subject of the video at hand, but, I know Sony doesn't really send out their bluetooth speakers for testing (or so I had been told on another video), and with that being said, any idea of when you may be testing the Ult 10 Tower?
Samsung has A LOT MORE low - bass and i can feel it on my samsung buds 2 pro at 10:50 ovreall i think because it also is on an angle, the samsung is more powerful!😄
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I'm talking about the output my dear.... The output of the speaker as shown in the decibel meter decreases as they are not pointing towards the mic and may I ask you... @@MusicExplodePranjal you stated you could feel the bass more because the drivers are at an angle. I have no idea how that would translate to more bass. The Samsung actually doesn't have lower bass, so not sure what is going on with your earbuds. 😲
The Samsung is actually better than I expected. It's a different set up with the angled, side firing drivers, so it's not going to sound like a traditional, front firing speaker. If I had paid $1200 for it I wouldn't have been too happy with it, however. 😲
Funny thing is that JBL is owned by Harman, and Harman is owned by Samsung. So its Samsung Vs Samsung really lol! 😁
Yeah, Samsung is the parent company that bought out Harman Kardon and it's branch companies. This happened quite a few years ago.

I have two of the MX ST 40’s which are paired..
Will I be able pair the 90 with the two 40’s?
I don't believe so/

The Samsung was just on sale for $300 shopped at buydig, pretty damn hard to beat at that price!!!
I saw that. Great price for sure.
Sizzling hot speaker comparison video! 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The direction does make a difference. JBL going straight to you while Samsung is +-45.
Yeah, I'm not really a big fan of multiple direction speakers.

ST90, but it has to be plugged in.

710.

does the samsung shake the windows and doors
Not really.
Samsung kinda sounds like I'm listening to it from the other side of the door. It's weird. Doesn't sound BAD, just not as good as that JBL
It's due to the angled design of the drivers. I'm not the biggest fan of doing a speaker this way.
