The Extreme has the comfort deck and works with the Air deck that I use almost every time. Love the ratchet legs levelers. My old Extreme one has a 4 pin hinge. I'm looking to get a larger size maybe dark horse but none of these other models have the air deck option and comfort step. I hope they can make a lighter fiberglass version of the Extreme.
I hope you were able to catch our premiere a couple weeks ago! The Conquest and Conquest All-terrain are fiberglass, they have the accessory port, and the all-terrain can adjust to unlevel ground. It is also lighter than the Xtreme! www.littlegiantladders.com/products/conquest-2-0

I agree! Hopefully you ordered your ladder and you are now enjoying it. I have the REVOLUTION it has ratchet leveler. Being able to adjust the legs has simplified my jobs on many occasions. I use mine every day.😊
can you use a stabilizer when using it as an extension ladder?
Yes, the Ratchet Levelers can be deployed while in extension. Don't use them to gain extra height, but to level yourself to the unlevel ground.

The Velocity M17 WITHOUT Ratchet Levelers weighs 30.5 lbs, while the Velocity M17 WITH Ratchet Levelers weighs 35 pounds.

This makes it look so easy! In practice, I find that the hinge locking mechanisms don't always seat or release so easily. Mine is new, so perhaps it needs breaking in. Or lube? What kind of lube would be best to use?
On any new ladder, we do recommend lube for any metal parts that will slide or rub on other metal parts. The lock and the channel between the rails are great places for lube. Typically a dry-lube (like a silicon based spray), however, some people have recommended a furniture polish called "Endust" for just the lock and channel, and it glides very nicely (You would not want to spray this on if you're on a hard surface, might want a drop-cloth or something down before spraying, or just spray a cloth first and then rub it on the metal parts that rub against each other)
As far as the locks not always seating, this is common with this type of ladder, you do have to sort of push the inner section into place once the locks have been turned, and you'll hear the click. Let me know if that answers your question!

How high can we go with these ladder
the shortest one, the Model 13, ends up being about 11 feet end to end in the extension position, giving about 14 foot reach. In the tallest A-frame position you're only able to go 3 feet up, giving about a 9.5 foot max reach. The model 17 Velocity gives you 18 foot max reach in extension and 11 feet max reach in the tallest a-frame. Model 22 give you 22 feet max reach in extension and 13 feet max reach in tallest a-frame. Model 26 gives you about 26 feet max reach in extension, and 15 foot max reach in the tallest a-frame.
Are the still warranty for life
The Velocity is indeed covered under "Limited Lifetime" warranty, which, in plain terms, means that if there are any manufacturer defects, we will fix / replace it. The palm buttons when pushed in, unlock the pins that control the shape of the ladder - so when they're pushed in, you can raise one side into extension. This can be done as shown or you can unlock it and as you lower it to the ground open it to extension. Whatever works best for you! At 3:10, the ladder will slide to longer lengths when you unlock the rock-locks. We do recommend using a dry-lube on any moving part that rubs metal against metal. For most people, laying the ladder down to get it into extension is the easiest way to make the ladder longer.

Some kind of fucking instructions would have been great with this damn ladder. It came with nothing. I'm about ready to take it back to the store.
We include the QR code on every product in case someone loses their manual so that you can be taken to the demonstration video which goes over the basic practices of how to use the ladder. We don't want people to be unsure how to use it, that's for sure! Hopefully the video helped. I would be interested to know where you purchased the ladder from, because we do provide manuals.
@@LittleGiantLadders It was either Walmart or Lowe's. I don't remember right off, but I'm thinking it was Walmart. It absolutely did not come with any type of manual whatsoever.
