It's pretty ridiculous that there are people in the world who actually think that people don't die I've literally witnessed people dying in front of me I've seen relatives die I have seen drug addicts on the street die when I was living in Philadelphia I've seen people get shot literally like right in front of my face when I was in Philadelphia I saw a guy walk up to another guy on the street corner who is the corner guy he wasn't actually selling the drugs but he was yelling out the brand name of the fentanyl or heroin or whatever he was selling I think it was called like bad bunny or big money or something They had ones named after everything shoe companies restaurants video games movies rappers everything Anyways I'm sitting on the corner in my car waiting for this ambulance to load up this overdosing dude and I realized that I had made the wrong turn This is my first time working in that area and I had never learned that neighborhood because like I said my first time and I should have just continued going straight and it would have actually taken me to the exact road but I needed to go to but I knew that the road to my left also took me there but I didn't realize that when I was there this time so I made the left and was stuck basically immediately and then someone came in behind me and I was unable to just reverse and go down the road again so I'm sitting there waiting for this ambulance to finish up and this black guy with a winter face mask not like a COVID one walks up to another guy and points a gun in his face and literally like 2 seconds later shoot some in his fucking face I slowly pull my Walther PPQSC out of the glove compartment and put it on my lap turn down my base in my car and then I realized when I got home later that day What's even crazier is that same instant where I saw the guy gets shot in the head next to my car across the street at the exact same moment there were like probably 12 to 15 guys jumping and stabbing and kicking this random dude on the street laying on the ground like gargling in his own blood probably 25 ft away from where the guy got shot This is next to a convenience store I think it was on Custer and Clearfield in Kensington Philadelphia So on my way home that day I stopped at 7-Eleven before I got home which was about 15 maybe 20 minutes away from where I was working and I stopped there and someone said they saw something on the front of my car so I went back to look there was literal blood and brains in the front of my car and I had to call the police to tell them what happened and it was insane and later that same year I saw multiple people get shot a few people get stabbed It was pretty crazy I started carrying my gun on me every single time I got out of the car. There were probably only five times where I didn't have my gun on me at all times and three out of those five times I was actually stabbed once in the lower gut below my belly button once in the hip and the second time I almost got stabbed in my gut / hip area again but luckily when the person went to stab me I grabbed their wrist but because they are wearing a coat and a sweatshirt I couldn't get a good hold of their wrists and they were able to slip their hand out of it enough where when they were pulling their hand away my finger got sliced really bad and almost cut off the tip of my right hand ring People up no idea how dangerous it is to live in northeastern Philadelphia Western Philly isn't that bad at all It doesn't look great but it's nothing considered to northeastern Philly North Philly isn't that bad either even though it looks just as bad as some areas in the Northeast Kensington is easily the worst Fairfield is great and there are some other areas next to Kensington that are just as bad fishtown is supposed to be nicer and supposedly being gentrified but it just means that everything is more expensive even though the crime rates are basically the same and even though the apartments have been renovated and look nice and are even as expensive as some places in South Philadelphia It didn't matter because when You still have the same possibility of being robbed assaulted or whatever it doesn't really matter I was actually shot when in Arizona before I moved to Philadelphia almost lost my foot someone had broke into my apartment and shot me with a 40 Smith & Wesson it was a CorBon DPX it's a all copper no lead bullet that expands really far and causes a shit ton of damage It basically blew off my ankle and part of my foot It blew off literally around 60% of my lower tibia bone That big bump you have in your ankle just section off that little bump into like a ball It basically took out half of that ball about 60% of it to be accurate and then it took out about one quarter maybe a little less of my foot and it looked like basically someone had taken a softball-sized chunk out of my foot and ankle They were trying to shoot at the floor near my feet because they saw that I had a duty belt with a gun sitting next to it because I was working private security and I I just take it off my duty belt put it on my coffee table and taking my gun off and put it right next to it and they were trying to make sure I didn't go and grab my gun so to scare me they shut around my feet but ended up hitting me with one of the bullets and they didn't expect to do that so they ran off afterwards once I had realized that they actually shot me which took a minute I thought cotton from the shoe had gotten all over my foot and floor but I realized it wasn't cotton it was bone It took 27 surgeries for me to get where I am today but they wanted to amputate it I caused such a problem at the hospital that they had to eventually call a doctor to do the surgeries but they wanted to amputate it and they kept trying to convince me to do so I was shot in Philadelphia too but it wasn't much of a problem I was sitting in my car after finishing work and a 380 bullet went through my car door and it already been through a couple of other objects I think it was like a fence some drywall that was sitting next to the fence a metal trash can and something else and then my car door so by the time it got to me it was 100% spent basically and only lodged itself in my forearm I just now have a scar on one of my tattoos I was able to actually pull it out myself pack it up with a cigarette filter wrap it up with a t-shirt and then drive myself to the local urgent care because I knew the hospital would take forever and probably not do anything more They ended up cleaning it and making sure everything was good and then had me file a police report afterwards with the police and then basically sent me on my way after finishing up cleaning it bandaging it I've been injured a number of times and it's pretty crazy how fucked up Philadelphia and other areas are Death is flash before my eye is many many times and I don't understand how people can live in this world and think that death is something that just doesn't happen I've seen death I've lived through things that should have killed me I'm currently living with lung cancer and I know I'm going to die eventually and I don't understand how people can live in this world and think that death is something could possibly not be real when there are literally people who witness it every single day and can easily tell you that it is true and to dismiss those people as lying or mistaken is just ridiculous I really hope Bert is just that stupid that he doesn't know or he's joking and just doesn't care that the joke is not funny and kind of weird
