That old lady is, indeed, her gandmother MERY ZAMANI (iranian). She apears in several Angelina's videos. For example, in the front row of the audience at AGTalent when he sings "Bohemian Rapsody" and again in the front row at the final from NGTalent after Angelina sings "Summertime" (when she wins the competition at 8yo) and in the music video "Love Don't Let Me Go " (at 17yo, her new EP song), where she is with Angelina in a porshe. Mery is an artist, and she also direct some Angelina's videos (Fly me to the moon, When you smille, and others).

This here is Mery Zamany, Angelina´s maternal grandmother. Mery was diagnosed with a thing we all know and fear. Just in time she got surgery. Angelina was beside herself and asked her angels/fans to pray for Mery (on her social platforms) and so we prayed for Mery. This here was shortly after her treatment and Angelina was angious for Mery. We all can understnad that.

There is a rumor: Adele was asked by a journalist, what she thought about THAT norwegian girl covering her song only a week after release by Adele. Adele answered, I feel honored.
This might be just a fairy tale, but I personally suspect, that its true. Angelina said a few times, that she is a big fan of Adele.

Easy On Me
Both Angelina Jordan and Adele are under the Republic Records umbrella, 12 hours after Adele released "Easy On Me," this video was dropped on the internet by AJ, and Adele has seen it. Adele wrote the song with its producer, Greg Kurstin, and it is about a broken marriage and a mother trying to explain to her son why it is happening. You have to ask yourself how a 15-year-old Angelina Jordan could do this song justice and give it the emotion it deserves? Here again, AJ takes on the impossible and makes it a classic as she always does.
As usual, grandma Mery is close, and even appears in this video with AJ. Mery has been a major powerhouse behind AJ, and they would be lost without each other. One genius helping create another.

The reason why Angelina's covers of ALL Adele's heartfelt ballads are preferred by
most is because of the emotion laden penetration she brings to the listener. The
reason is because Adele, while great, is a pure 'Pop' singer, whereas Angelina is a
true 'Jazz' specialist. There is no way that any 'Pop' singer can match the intensity
of someone like Angelina or her musical mentor, the great Billie Holiday. It is from
Billie that Angelina learned and perfected the inventive elements of Billie that
included elements like 'breathy', 'whisper-like' releases and a host of other subtleties
from the greatest improvisational singer of all time.
I love the look on Kathy's face while she listens. The smile, her eyes. You can tell how much she is enjoying this. Those are the reasons I watch 'reaction' videos. Great job ladies.

That is Angelina’s grandma, Mery Zamani. Grandma Mery is Angelina’s greatest creative influence and muse. Mery was, herself, a child prodigy as a painter and poet. Mery is an internationally renowned artist. The head of Japan owns two of Mery’s paintings. Whenever you see Angelina in her younger years singing from home the paintings you see behind her are her grandma Mery’s paintings.
It was grandma Mery’s love of listening to the old Jazz artists and classic music that inspired Angelina to love the genre at a very young age. Grandma Mery is in several of Angelina’s videos, especially those from her Norway’s Got Talent performances to Angelina’s song, “Love Don’t Let Me Go” from her new EP.
There are many Angelina reactors, but I will always follow your reactions. I love the beautiful innocence of your channel. Three generations of family women with different input.

One of you should remember her and her voice. Her name is Daneliya Tuleshova she is 6 months younger than Angelina. I am going to give you two links. The first since it is coming up on Christmas, this is a 12 year old Daneliya singing, 'All I Want For Christmas' by Mariah Carey. The second is a Sam Smith tune called, 'Diamonds' she did this at 14. Daneliya is 17 now and has just put out a new original song and MV. It is called 'Tied' and is autobiographical. I hope you at least listen to these video's. Daneliya is an amazing vocalist. Rob Christie is Playing Piano, and he is AJ's A&R person with Republic Records/Universal Music Group.
That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? You guys are always fun to watch but I do have a suggestion. When you are not all familiar with the original, it would help to play 30 seconds of the original before you actually do the featured artist reaction. That way you understand better where the artist is coming from and what the influence was. It takes away from your understanding and reaction when you don't know the original. It would still help if you went back after the fact and listen to the original to fully appreciate what Angelina has accomplished here.
The pianist is Rob Christie, the musical director of Republic Records where Angelina is signed. Mery, Angelina's grandmother, is in this video and a few others, and she is Angelina's rock and inspiration that got her into jazz and the classic music back when she was two years old! They have an incredibly close and loving relationship and her grandmother is the one that has recorded many of her videos and documented her career since she was a child. Peace and love

Yes, that is grandma, Mery. Angie's mom, Sara, is a beautiful blond. She and Angilina are best friends and look like they could be sisters.
That opening got to me. It was her grandma's first time back in the studio with Angelina since she had cancer surgery. That's why they were holding each other. Those two have a so very special relationship. There was a video of grandma in the hospital just before the surgery and there was Angelina in the chapel which is always a busy place when a life is the balance. Then it was back in recovery when grandma came out, and now she's back at her post watching out for Angelina and ready to laugh, cry or give a hug. I really think going through this has deepened Angelina's grasp of the feelings of possible loss. I also found out her mom and dad had split up, possibly they weren't both in favor of Angelina's of being a singer. I do not know but we shouldn't say Angelina doesn't know loss and pain. She also lost both her of her grandfathers so I think Angelia is well acquainted with pain and loss to inform her singing.
This was one of Angelina's best efforts to this point. She really can sing Adele's songs even better than Adele. I know many will consider this heresy, but I believe this. Adele is a great songwriter and performer, but Angelina can just sing this song.
Angelina's trademark flood of emotion is in full display here..this is what sets her apart from singers, yes that includes Adele; because Angelina's combination of lyrical interpretation AND drenched w/emotion she shows her ARTISTRY. She dives in unapologetically & chooses from the array of vocal ornaments to make this HER song. You 3 are awesome to watch! The smiles of enjoyment and/or emotion that is obviously felt...you just validate her God given Gift...way to go Gurls!! See ya on the flipside, right?? Angelina is a big Elvis fan. In fact in some of her instagram or TikTok posts you can see him in the background either in a picture or video. Off the top of my head Angelina has covered at least 6 songs that Elvis recorded. She sang Always On My Mind as a tribute to her paternal grandfather after he passed. Just a few weeks ago she was one of 21invitees to Le Bal Debutantes in Paris (debutantes ball). While there she performed Can’t Help Falling In Love
