Rey didn't cut off Kylo's hand, she just slashed his arm. This trilogy is notably less limb-amputation-happy than the previous two, lol
Kylo is not more scary then Vader, Vader with just his presence be having ppl shitting them selfs even the few Jedi that were alive and saw him 💀
It's no Star Wars reaction without Colette doing her Chewie Roar😂🙈
Colette saying "oh..." after Kylo took his helmet off had me dying. She didn't expect him to be attractive haha.
OH NO HES HOT 😂
`@@Yeb-wp9em Stupid SWOL Flanders!
"...Hello..." 😂
Nose too big
@@charleslatora5750 i don't think that makes someone less attractive
Finn has perfect skin from wearing the stormtrooper helmet for all those years 😝
Many people missed that Chewie got a good shot at Kylo right after he killed Han. Got Kylo in his left side, which we see bleeding and Kylo trying to fight through the pain. If Chewie was a little more focused he could have killed Kylo and saved us from the next two movies.
Don't lay this all on the Wookie! He just saw his best friend killed in front of his eyes! And by the son!
He didn't want to kill Ren. That's pretty obvious. It was a "final warning" shot.
This saga did me dirty
I agree! Chewie had a similar situation to Thor in infinity war. Both came so close to defeating the villain with one shot but just didn’t go for the head like they should have
Apparently Chewie was originally aiming at Kylo's head and was about to kill him, but he remembered all the fun times when Kylo was a kid, so he didn't want to kill him and aimed for the stomach instead.
Love seeing how deep you get into the things you're watching.
Interesting fact, Daniel Craig, who played James Bond, is the one who played the stormtrooper that Rey mind tricked and his designation was JB-007.
“This ship hasn’t flown in years” 32 years by my count. Well, that’s how long it’s been in our world at least.
The Stormtrooper she used the force on was played by Daniel Craig (James Bond)😎
Ain’t no way she didn’t realize that was the ICONIC lightsaber.
“There’s sexual tension in the galaxy” 😂😂😂
Kylo more intimidating than Vader 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that’s funny
Why?
The performances in this movie are so great Adam Driver especially
Adam Fu****** Driver and his gorgeous f****** hair! Love him.
That old guy is Max von Sydow, a famous Ingmar Bergman actor. He was the knight who played chess with Death in The Seventh Seal. He also played the grumpy artist in Woody Allens' Hannah And Her Sisters. For example.
Interesting to see the intended audience watching the film: the "she's a natural" and "get it girl!" type, and realise that it's a good show in the end, if you are not always thinking how little sense everything makes, and just enjoy the visuals and the story twists..
Everything makes sense for the most part imo, I'm curious on what you felt didn't make sense.
@@passionsquietrageidk maybe the fact the every Jedi or force sensitive person ever had to actually train in the art of sword fighting to be able to use a literal sword made of light and when someone that’s never touched a sword can go against and actually win against someone that has trained it doesn’t feel genuine
@@alexbrooking1521 There were several factors that caused that outcome. The more experienced combatant was injured, having just been shot in the gut by a wookie bowcaster. That combatant's mental state was also compromised, causing him to be less focused. In the end, he wasn't actually defeated; he chose to retreat because it was no longer safe to continue the fight due the ground splitting up. A retreat isn't a defeat, it's a to be continued.
Chewie shot Kylo in the kidney, which isn't necessarily fatal, but is incredibly serious. Further, he was shot with the bow caster, which the film has already shown us hits with massive power. This is like getting shot with a .50 caliber bullet, not the shitty pistol round either, but the full size bullet used in heavy machine guns. The power of this wound should have killed him, but his strength in the Dark Side is keeping him on his feet and mobile. He occasionally stops to punch himself in the wound to increase his suffering, thus increasing his power in the Dark Side of the Force, thus keeping him alive. This also plays into how Rey is able to beat him. 1) she's strong in the Force even if she's untrained, 2) she's been using melee weapons her whole life and using a sword isn't all that different, 3) Kylo specifically is trying to capture her not kill her and, 4) he's almost fucking dead on his feet.
That whole fight makes so much more sense when you realise all these details. But I don't know a single person who caught up on all these on first viewing. Think the impression of the movie for many would have been a lot better if they manage to make all these point clearer, I don't know how they would have done that though.
You have a great Chewie impression haha, I love how surprised you get about the reveals reminds me of how I felt when the movie first came out. Also I love your hair the braids and all! Keep up the reactions they're really dang good!
As always Collette ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥hope you enjoy the next two as much as you did this one
Hey Collette, did you know that the Stormtrooper that Rey "Jedi-mind tricked" was James Bond, himself, Daniel Craig?? It's true. Craig wanted so much to be in a Star Wars movie that JJ put him in as a Stormtrooper.
Merry Christmas Colette keep up with the great reactions 😊
Fun reaction. First clip I've seen with you, will most likely rewatch the other starwars movies during christmas.
The island where Rey found Luke is named Skelling Michael. Outside of Ireland. Southwest. They do have tourism to that island.
People hate on these last 3 movies they def have their moments that are bad but they also got a lot of good scenes . I enjoyed watching them
All the SW films have bad/cringe/convoluted scenes. Every single one. The people currently bitching about the sequels as if they are the only films in the franchise with problems are ignoring the previous generation who bitched about the prequels in the same way. Every generation of kids who grew up with a certain era of SW are always going to put nostalgia glasses on for those and nitpick the new stuff.
Me, I just enjoy SW for what it is: a fun modern mythology that nobody should take all that seriously and should simply enjoy recreationally.
It's folklore and fairy tales. Not Andrei Tarkovsky. People need to chill.
Raaaaaay! Raaaaaaaay! Lol
@@Progger11 “people who care about Star Wars care about Star Wars too much and should be like me and not care about Star Wars” weak lame argument as usual
@@mcdoublenfries7412 Yeah, I was gonna come up with something good but you nailed it. This movie isn't even the problem, even if it resembles 4 too much. It's 8 and 9 that are awful.
@@mcdoublenfries7412 Not what I said. I enjoy Star Wars. But I enjoy it for what it is, not the weird cultish thing many people have turned it into. I genuinely enjoy the sequels--all of them. But even if I didn't, I wouldn't make hating them part of my identity.
Great predictions and reaction Colette, loving the braids
I hope you continue this series!!!!
Elsa watching Star Wars, thats fcking crazy
Really enthusiastic reaction. You noticed the nod to the transitions Abrams used just like Lucas did in A New Hope. Keep looking for any of the good stuff in the next installments, watching any movie should be fun. Like the way your rockin' the braids, too.
RIP Carrie Fisher
regardless of the attempt to mirror Lucas's style, the movies still come across as non-backstory-driven claptrap that even Hamill agrees is idiotic.
@@Velbar_ Still better than episodes 1 2 4 and 5
The island at the end is off the coast of Ireland. It’s is a protected island, where only like 50 people can visit at a time. Monks used live there, in seclusion.
The desert was on the Arabian peninsula, Dubai or U.AE.
The green planet was England. Studios mostly in England.
The silver Storm-commander, was Gwedoline Christie, who at the time of this was in Game of Thrones. The Stormtrooper who Rey does the “Force influence” was Daniel Craig who was filming 007 ar the same studio complex in England. Snoke, the Leader, is Andy Serkis, famous for playing Gollum, a few Apes, and a human villain in Marvel.
Oh my goodness! Is that your real hair? Looks amazing, even if it's not.
Amazing Outfit
Have a very Merry Christmas Colette
and Thanks for the great Star Wars
reactions Thank You very much.
🎵🎶🎼🇺🇲📺🇺🇲🎼🎶🎵
Really have come to enjoy your Star Wars reactions ❤
This isn't a Star Wars reaction. George Lucas himself said Disney SW isn't Star Wars.
Loved your reaction to this movie it really was devastating when Ben killed his father but it had so many memories of Luke's first fight to take out the Death Star I loved that !!!
You mean they didn't have a clue what they were doing so they just copy and pasted A New Hope?
At least the Falcon knows which way is up.😂
5:37 lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!!
In my opinion, BB-8 is the cutest Star Wars character overall and the best part of this trilogy. If you listen carefully, you can even hear him beep his own name.
AGREED. LOVE me some BB-8 !!! LOL.
The island where the final scene was shot is Skellig Michael, off the coast of Ireland.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
🎉
COLETTE
actor adam driver in the series known as ben solo/kylo renn is a veteran and non-commissioned officer in the us marines
Hi Colette, luv u and ur channel..great to see Force Awakens again..been a while..by the way i think your skin looks great to me, beautiful in fact...Glad u enjoyed the film as much as me..By the way the last part was filmed on Skellig Island from Ireland where im from...its just off the coast..used to be for monks back in the day and then a tourist destination and now filled with Star Wars fans..Much Luv💚☘️
Starkiller Base is named after "Luke Starkiller," which was Luke Skywalker's original name in the early drafts of the script for A New Hope.
Just like this movie hits upon the same beats as Episode IV, watching this reaction reminded me at every turn of how I felt/reacted to this movie when I first saw it. Thanks, loved this reaction.
The Phantom Menace also has similar story beats to A New Hope.
Most beautiful reactor on You Tube, plus you actually react. Alot of channels lost the reaction part.
Chewbacca's yell when han get it with the lightsaber is what got me😢
Loved your reaction!!!
cant wait for the next two colette!
The original star wars trilogy is still the best ❤
Well, I'll say this much. Yours is one of the most optimistic takes on this film I've seen so far. I'm not a huge fan of this particular trilogy, but I like that you only see things to enjoy. Maybe I'll be able to enjoy a brighter outlook through your eyes as you watch these.
I love any Snow Scene❄️🌨️☃️⭐️
For anyone who wants to know the island at the end of the movie is called Skellig Michael it's off the coast of Ireland
Kylo Ren kept hitting his side where chewy got him because it would cause him the most pain, the more pain you are in the stronger your connection to the dark side of the force. Just like the more at peace you are the stronger your connection to the light side, like how Luke projected his conscious across space while meditating.
it was good to see her in the episode 7 then heard her died in 2016 then the rest of the movies the music and her scenes breaks your heart knowing she is dead R.I.P Carrie Fisher
Nostalgia is a strong drug
And Disney became the biggest dealer of all
In the worst of ways
colette, we saw the illininem system in the cartoon in the middle of the Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978, it was on cbs one night in december of 1978 instead of the incredible Hulk tv show, they never released it on vhs or dvd, but people recorded it off of tv using their vcrs. and then traded copies of it at comic book conventions, that is how i first saw it, it is now on youtube, but make sure you watch a version that has a cartoon in the middle.
Hi Colette, I like your hairstyle with the braids!👱🏻♀ Carrie Fisher's mother Debbie Reynolds died the day after her.🤯 Luke's sanctuary is Skellig Michael Island in Ireland.😉 Great reactions to your first film in the Star Wars sequels, Colette!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
Carrie Fishers daughter is in the Sequel Trilogy movies
All right I'm going to save this to watch later
50:51 First Order Stormtropper is played by 007 Actor Daniel Craig 🔥
"That's not how the Force works!" Han's come so far since it was just a hokey religion.
Adam Driver. Correct. Universally praised even by the haters. I hope they'll give him more story one day but I feel he'd need some time away to be happy to return, much like his father Harrison Ford lol
These sequels were ok. They're not as bad as some people say, other than some moments. The main issue is that each movie they backtracked instead of being consistent in order to try to counter the criticism. With that said you have one benefit that we did not have when this came out. And that's knowing that this launched an amazing decade with masterpiece series such as Mandalorian, Andor, Ahsoka (ish), we got Rogue One, and even Solo like exists.... Book of Boba has amazing moments too. Obiwan gave us some cool moments. Before these all we had were some games and books there and again. This started a wave of new lore, shows, toys, animated series, and so much more. So despite their content, I'm grateful for the franchise being alive as it is.
They aren't consistent, they are almost like stand alone films that are somehow connected, like the dollars trilogy but not good
No, they're worse.
Based comment
@@FosterTravis1071 much worse
No they aren't. They ARE NOT ok. If they were just horrible movies, it would be ok, but the problem is that it destroys the entire lore of the 6 previous movies in multiple ways. Also there is nowhere to go from here. No one wants to see new episodes because there is NOTHING to go to
Why do people forget about Shaak Ti? She was a Jedi master. There were plenty of very powerful women Jedi, especially in the Old Republic.
People that only watch the movies wouldn't know about shaak ti, ahsoka, aayla secura, etc
@@baileyjones1854 Shaak-Ti and Aayla Secura are in the movies. As is Bultar Swan, Luminara, and Bariss. Try again.
@@stigkenobi7525 yes they are technically in the movies but if you asked someone to name them they would have no idea that's my whole point
You should watch them from 1 to 9. It feels better.
Love your reactions ❤🧡💛
You've got the best insights... aaaand, the cutest teeth ever!
wtf?
Leave her alone…
Ren isn't more terrifying than Vader never ever say that again
59:31 while i dont know for sure im pretty certain hes hitting an open wound to fuel his rage or pain which increases a darkside users power
Please watch the rest of the movies!
Your hair looks amazing in braids! It really brings out your face! 😊 I'm looking forward to you watching the rest of these films. Your comments are much deeper than most people because you actually know acting, set design, production, etc. You make it fun. I also hope that you check out the Venom movies with Tom Hardy. You'll really enjoy those!
16:30 fun fact, i read once poe was originally gonna die about here but cus they loved him on set they wrote him in more
Well, it's not like he did anything too important or significant after the escape with finn anyway
You should play any young version of Leia if there's any more live action stuff with her in it
The island that Luke was on is an island off the coast of Ireland
A bunch of imperial forces on the death star saw Luke Skywalker get taken to the Emperor's chambers and walk out with Darth Vader's body, and then the death star exploded.
He is a myth. He probably terrifies them.
Luke hadn’t seen his father’s saber since his cut off hand was holding it. What a moment.
What a plot hole. Sad they wrote the movie for the dumbest common denominator.
Colette. You say all the right things.
Yeah, I'd avoid the comments for a bit if you plan on forming your own opinion on these.
Awww you were so happy to see Luke 😢
Until you see what he does in “episode 8”
@@BryanvMunsteren exactly!!! To be fair I don't think Luke had a say in the matter.
When Kylo got shot by chewie hit him in the side. The side he kept smacking wolf of Wall Street style to increase the pain. The dark side gains strength from pain and anger. So he was hitting his wound to increase his side side energy.
Silver Stormtrooper AKA Cpt. Phasma, is Gwendoline Christie AKA Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones.
I'm watching the Clone Wars animated movie right now that was released in the movie theater years ago and your video at the same time
40 seconds into the video: SO LUKE'S IN THIS! YAY!
Me: oh you wait :D
Super reaction. I really like Rey too. Thank you.
Awesome braids! Awesome reaction! Kylo Ren was causing himself pain (hitting his wound) and using it to gain more strength (dark emotions). feeding on his pain. ( or something like that).
Hey glad you enjoyed the movie. Personally I like them enough. Same as how I like the others before.
Here's a bit of advice though. Just ignore what anyone says about these movies since most opinions are either blind basis praise or blind basis gatekeeping nostalgia. If anything just enjoy the movies and form your own opinons on them. Because everyone has their own preferences in the end. Even those who supposedly share similair opinons here.
Anyways again. Glad your enjoyed the movie. I hope you enjoy the other two films and again ignore the bullies who will probably try to persaude you from not doing so.
Have the best days ahead! 🙂😁
They can like what they want but that doesn't make it good.
I feel so bad for chewie
harrison fords death scene, was such a harrison ford moment.
Fun fact: Harrison Ford wanted Han Solo to be killed in Return of the Jedi
Spoiler??
I love how you pretty much figured out the next episode before the end of this one 😅
I do believe Kylo was actually struggling with coming back with Han...then the light went out and he made the move. Symbolism.
💖
So it was Hux’s fault, since he operated the machine that sucked out the sun?
@@kaizoisevilMaybe you don't understand what "symbolism" means.
@@Progger11 I know it was symbolism, I was just joking.
That's what I'm saying! Many people just think kylo tricked han to kill him but the truth was, kylo was truly conflicted. He wanted to come back but also believed he was beyond redemption and so he had to fully become irredeemable. So he needed the strength to kill his father in order to lose what held him back.
Yay i love this movie
That BB-8 thumbs up is hilarious. 😂😂
Hearing Chewy react that way towards the Rathtars was kind of sad. You barely hear him that way, like he was really scared.
Rey getting rid of the gangs by accident: task failed successfully.
It was creepy hearing all the thing during the vision. Vader's breathing, Luke's NOOOOOO, etc.
I don't think Finn knew that was Poe.
Hello 🙋♂️. I'm happy to see your reaction about this film, even I finished to don't like the sequel 😊😁... But I like that you love Star Wars 🌟
Big props to all involved. Good acting and lovely. Production is on point even if her hair doesn't match. But for real the editor(s)? Escaped from a sandworm like Boba
😂🤪
Absolutely stunning!!
love your reaction
59:21 pain is a dark side emotion. He draws strength from his pain. Sith mastication.
This video is awesome thank you
Training is silly when you can just download your force powers during the Kylo Mind probe. I'm not even making that up. That's the explanation.
But the Dyad...
41:38 the moment Colette Cherry was willing to get it on with a tyrant.
Nice reaction!!!
@8:40. Is Simon Pegg as the barter.
Kylo is hitting his wound from Chrwie because physical pain causes him to focus on his anger and anger gives a Dark side user more power
Star Wars episode one-7 are awesome 😎
