As soon as the Datsun is up and moving (and stopping) on its own, I am back to the FD. I will probably bounce between projects as the builds progress and I figure out what parts I need and need to wait on.
You could certainly drain all of the fluid if you wanted. I only took fluid from the master cylinder and then whatever leaked out from the hard lines connected to the master. I did a total flush and replaced the fluid once I had the whole system back together.

This is probably because the brake master cylinder is broken and the brake fluid leaks into the booster.
Hey! I assume you must drain/bleed all brake fluid as a first step before removing the booster?

i JUST got that same brake booster...not happy with it.
