Hubby told me about this not long after we booked our Boston to Montreal in June. He's got at least a dozen Hawaiian shirts that are predominately orange, but I had to invest in something (orange isn't my go to color). I'm sure we'll have lots of fun though.
We met so many on different HAL cruises who didn't know to pack some orange so that's why we made the video. Maybe we can help some people! Thats a beautiful cruise you have coming up!
This was a wonderful surprise during our first HAL cruise in March. It was definitely a highlight of my cruise - so much fun! I’ll be better prepared for my next cruise coming up in Jan. 😊
Great vlog! We are going on a HAL cruise in august this year to Norway. The orange party is always nice and the snacks are mjammie! When this year it's Koningsdag (Kingsday) we are going to buy orange things in Amsterdam for our coming cruise. Looking forward to it. Everybody have a nice (cruise)life.
Norwegian had White Hot Nights in the Bliss Lounge for years on Thursdays. Lot’s of folks using the sheets off their beds, haven’t seen it in a few years Also a blast from the past was the Chocloholic meetings late on Thursday evenings, all the cruise lines used to do it, not anymore
Also....Holland has chocolate night.they use to have every cruise...now you see it more during end of year holidays...also they are really good at gingerbread life-size decorations...other lines has chocolate from around the world..fountains and sculptured along with ice sculptures with the chocolate ones
Party is a floating line of crew then all areas in this case...the BBKings 2 floors, the Rolling Stone and Billboards through the hallways and in front of both floors of stores. They could go elsewhere. A line of waters and officers line up outside of BB Kings and their entertainment staff help out by splash of orange gear and dancing ...line dancing..regular dancing etc.. the cruise director explains history and then helps kick off the steps to certain line dances. It can be crowded where ever you go but it's a bigger ship and you can move around freely. It really is fun and the foods and the class of the wait staff serving trays and individual servings of varieties of food and goodies. The upper level staff is there to greet etc...very well done Holland.

We are going on our first cruise this spring. How do 2000 people all go to the same party?
It is packed but all areas of the Ship are open! We always try to show up early to get a seat in BB Kings. We hope you have a great time!!
Is it every cruise or just when it’s National day in the Netherlands?
Every cruise! It is possible on a 1 or 2 day cruise they might not have the Orange Party.. :)
