Travel with D and D is a Cruise and Travel Talk Show channel. We are regular people just like you and located here in the Cruising Capital of South Florida! We have been on 34 cruises on 10 different cruise lines and on 25 different ships. The shortest cruise was 4 days and the longest was 45 days! We cover different Cruise Lines, Ships, Ports and Excursions as well as Cruise News and general information regarding travel. Feel free to leave comments and we will answer them. We want Travel with D and D to be a fun community for new Cruisers and experienced as well. We look forward to sharing tips and tricks with each other.

I have been binge watching all of your French Polynesia videos as I will be going there on HAL in February. Could you tell me how you got to the Intercontinental Resort from the port and approximately how long it takes to get there. Thanks so much for your informative videos.
We walked outside the port and got a cab there. The ride was about 25 minutes. We also have some good information on our Hawaii playlist! Thank you for watching us and for subscribing Janice! :)

I saw online and they have a "MINIMART" :by taxi should not be far maybe 15 min most. Off the main outer road 😊

Looks great having the concierge lounge so close. The access to the private pool/hot tub and thermal lounges with refreshments is a huge bonus. Bvlgari scents of your choice of toiletries and other goodies

If you look up the mysterious 'Alien' Stone monuments of Nuku Hiva Ancientb Origins. Very informative and tells ALL. Quite surprising.

Tiki Tuhiva is a sculpture of two tiki on Tuhiva Hill, that was inaugurated in 2017. The tallest, a female tiki, stands 12 meters high and overlooks the bay of Taioha'e. She is the the guardian of Tradition and Knowledge. The smaller, male tiki, represents a warrior who is imposing his power. The work was conceived by Benoît Kautai, the mayor of Nuku Hiva, together with a sculpture artist, Grégorio Grand-Midi, who carried out the work with the assistance of two Marquesan sculptors. 😀
Hubby told me about this not long after we booked our Boston to Montreal in June. He's got at least a dozen Hawaiian shirts that are predominately orange, but I had to invest in something (orange isn't my go to color). I'm sure we'll have lots of fun though.
We met so many on different HAL cruises who didn't know to pack some orange so that's why we made the video. Maybe we can help some people! Thats a beautiful cruise you have coming up!
