If you just take out the upper control arm you can pull the whole strut out and do the job on a bench and rotate everything only take 1/2 hour as you don't need to disconnect the swag bar link or the steering rack
What did do about the lower bumpstops.....? Can you show a photo of the bumpstop gaps after fitting the spacers. Fitting strut spacers changes the geometry and you have a much bigger lower bumpstop gap and a reduced upper gap. Without fitting taller lower bumpstops you run the risk of bottoming out the shock. All you need to do is take a before and after photo to see the difference. You need to make people aware of this when fitting these spacers.
How do you overcome camber problems after the spacers are installed? Also, what size wheels do you have installed on the truck?Sorry, you may have said in the video, but I am at work and cannot turn on sound!!Thanks
hi mate. this all went pretty good. undid everything like in the video. i also ended up taking out the top wishbone which is 2 more bolts. this way i could pull out the whole shock to fit the spacer. much easier. .
Hi Guys, Completed lift a couple of weeks ago and had wheels realigned, how did you overcome camber issue? I also fitted ball joint spacers could this be the issue? Thanks
Have u any spacers on the balljoints or anything? I have tried to put my 35mm strut spacers in and had a lot of bother getting them in but got them in and the drive pulled apart.. so took them back out I just see your drives seem to be sittin very straight compared to how mine was
Hi - the spacer that sits between the spring and the strut will do the same thing but there are some differences... 1) they are harder to fit as you have to remove the spring to fit them ? 2) the shock absorber travel is reduced as you are not moving the top of the shock absorber down. I am not really a pro expert at this truck lifting stuff so feel free to object / add comments
Hi thanks for vid, I fitted same spacer and cant get bottom bolt in suspension leg?? Please help I'm pulling hair out haha. I took whole leg out, fitted spacer then put top in first, tightened up, went to fit bottom of shocker and cant get it lined up!!!
To powerfulukltd, Sir are there any issues about the velocity joints of the front drive, will it not affect the immature wear and tear of the velocity joints in the front drive? And also if I will use extended shackle hangers for the leaf spring with 2 inches lift at the back will it affect the alignment of the propeller shaft going to the rear differential that may cause vibration during high speed? I will be very happy for your reply Sir and thank you, more power to you.

When he measured the back the tape measure wasn't straight up and down, it was slightly diagonal so it probably only measured 37 or 38 inches

nice vid guys. doing mine this weekend. only video i can find showing this much info is yours. appreciate the info.
Andrew Horton did I have any problems getting yours fitted?

@@andrewhorton3976 did you struggle to get the bottom bolt in when you put shocker back in
@@countrylad4767 no, all went together pretty good. Been two years now, no problems. Best thing i every did to it
@@andrewhorton3976 all done today! Got hold of a 6ft bar..... the rest is history haha
How did you you rotate the strut after installing the spacer? Is it just a matter of put a screwdriver in the bolt hole and turning it
Thanks for showing how to do this. 👍

After 2 inc lift...can we add the long spring that add more 2 inc to the front absober
Easy to remember: 1 inch equals 25.4 millimetres.
why didnt you rotate the top mount so the strut was correct
how much body lift is it ?
the suspension using 32mm spacer have up 3 inch ?
Any info on your bump stops yet....???? Please note Milners Off Road supply taller bump stops with their strut spacers because of this issue.
Hi Bro.how if i want lift up triton lite?either same with triton 4x4 equiptment?

Hi - no we did not fit another spacers and all is still ok
Thank you for the info. What is the difference between the used spacers and the ones that go between struts and coils?
Hi - the spacer that sits between the spring and the strut will do the same thing but there are some differences...
1) they are harder to fit as you have to remove the spring to fit them ?
2) the shock absorber travel is reduced as you are not moving the top of the shock absorber down.

Appreciate your reply. I will go for spacers that sit on top of the strut.

Hi Pedro - you are correct in that the angles of some of the joints will change - but these should be no problem unless you are doing high mileage.
@@L663 Thank you very much Sir for your selfless advice, God bless.
Did you re-torque the spacers??
adamsın be helal
I lucking to du same just 25 mm on front for 2020 L200
How do you put the arms back? Like I can't get it to go back oi n?
How long did it take you to do job mate
about 3-4 hours from memory
👍
Do you fit these as a service?
no sir we do not ... i am not really a good mechanic
hi im george fren
Hi Drew - nice hat !
Lift it properly !! Plastic body spacers, alloy spacers....lol!!! Do it through decent suspension, don't you value quality and safety ?
Yes I value my safety - i drive a Volvo with no modifications and a ENCAP 5 star rating !
