The Tubix XL has an opening of 76mm so the only thing it might struggle with would be a 300mm 4 core and a 400mm 3/4 core as they’re 75mm glands. I’ve tried it on a 150mm 4 core and it dwarfed the cable👍🏼
excellent content, this is the best electrical channel on youtube!
Watching this channel is very theraputic!
That's not an electrical panel, that's a war tank!!! Good job.
Yessss at last more videos like the Cannabis farm, keep 'em coming please!!! Longer videos the better!
Everytime I watch an armored cable being done on a UK channel I'm so grateful we have Tek Cable in NA
rest of europe does not even use armored unless special location
Really enjoyed this video. Great stuff Mike
What a great video really enjoyed that Mikey, when I’ve done my apprenticeship I always used to work on the mains panel. I’ve had to work on them ABB panels before and service the main switch . Not too sure about your boots. You must get ripped hard for them. Keep up the good work. I look forward to future videos still in love with a bandsaw. As I don’t work on real building sites, I can always get away with my M12 cut off saw, so I’m not too worried about one
Good to see your skills are being put to use!
Please please please don't use power tools onto your thighs - mess that up and you're risking cutting into major arteries.
Shutup ya fuckin divvy 😂😂
Need to get one of those armour cutters over to Tony Jointech to put it through its paces!
That old panel is such a beauty; too bad it will be thrown out
Plenty of replacement parts 👀
Awesome job 🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😊
Everything is a hammer & everything is a chisel when it’s job & knock 😂
I sound like a broken record, awesome video mate! Cheers
Good video, quick one for you would you be safer to pull the fuses on the ongoing feeder section as an extra precaution whilst terminating, also would you normally torque and mark the outgoing feeder terminations as per manufacturer's torque recommendation. 👍
Would like to see more of that data centre and the UPS system installed please, and how you protect against surges
Another informative and engaging video Mike 💪
Hope you are enjoying your KT66DL 🤞
Really interesting video. It would be great if you could do a video on the live testing of the cable. What you are testing for etc…
Really interesting. Could you talk us through that (or any) panel to explain it from start to finish? Cheers!
Some great content there. Some fire alarm stuff would be interesting. My handwriting is also appalling 😂
I guess I am intrested to know how its possible to remove and replace a distribution pannel this big and still maintain power to the building, or is that just not possible (Ie: for several days there will be no live GRID power anywhere in the building, and instead it will come from a generator or a tempoary supply originating from the local transformer)
Is torquing up all terminal connections not a requirement anymore
A metal clad portacabin on a TN system? 🤔 Thought it had to be a TT.....
@@residualcurrent 👍
@@residualcurrent that's such a comedy reg. What so the skilled person can tell you that it was a pen fault that killed the chippies apprentice... 🤣 Gotta love bs7671.
It's worth noting that the PEN fault risks come from having a TN-C-S system. This system sounds like it has a private transformer, so I suspect it's TN-S.
great video do you have a dedicated camera man or woman.
12:31 Well... It's a shame it's going really
19:43 Straight in the bin. The junk yard is too nice for this thing.
That black Bosch spanner set is pants, and over priced, they are just rebranded ones and you get the same spanners for half the price.
Youth of today 🙄

Try straight edged Channellock grips miles better and miles cheaper than Knipex, you don’t need to spread your hands and always get a perfect grip.
Honestly I’ve been doing this 40 years and I’m Building Services Engineer for a top 10 Main contractor. Don’t get your head turned by the latest gizmo down at the wholesaler 👍
