Thank you for posting. Needed to get an old keyboard working and read that it should be just pair with the mouse USB adapter. Powered the keyboard on-off-on multiple times without results. Found your post, downloaded and installed the software and voilà, success!

Edit: Never mind it just fell out on the floor. I did originally think it was Bluetooth and it is not.
My keyboard and mouse box combo did not come with any dongle. The box show that it is supposed to.
