I’m 14 years old and just watched you video. My goal since I was little was and still is to become a CEO of a company big or small. I have started going door to door and have got some money from mowing lawns, pulling weeds, baby sitting, dog sitting, cleaning, and dog walking. Your video has helped me get a better understanding of what it takes to become a good CEO. I hope one day people will recognize me. Not as a glorified CEO, but as a humble financial CEO that people enjoy being around.

exceptional, as always, Pat! There's only one more I would add - clarity! The best CEOs I've studied or worked for are CLEAR about company direction and vision, CLEAR about their expectations, CLEAR about responsibilities for different positions, CLEAR about cultural values, etc... No clarity=messiness. Biggest Takeaway here: Speaking different languages!

+Vice Rock - I just checked, and it's there, under the point on the languages of a CEO. The one that addresses it is the 7 Audiences of a CEO, and the article and video talks about how you use a different language for each of those audiences. Hope that helps! ~Rebecca (VT support)

Pat, I watch Valuetaiment for past 3-4 weeks. You don't even have a clue how much influence you giving. So much Valuable information's and point of view in every single video. It's just unbelievable. I'm from Poland and I'm just 21 Years old. but I can see a lot of similarities in myself to things and qualities you talking about, but I can see loads of weak side's that I have to work at as well, what I'm actually doing not just talking about it. Hopefully one day I'll step up in this ladder of " game of doubles" :) Appreciate all your work that you doing to educate people. Greetings and Big respect!

I like the way you talk the proof I listened till the end. There are many youtubers or motivators who are just BS. A rule that I learned from brian tracey, never take an advice fron a theoricien first thing I do is to read the biographie and experience of the person. Cause talk is cheap. Thanks for the great video

I am building my first true set of businesses. Management consulting and business design for SMBs, Series A-C Startups, and some very niche focused public companies. My business partner and some of our partner businesses want me to be CEO. This is something that is very helpful for me. I have studied these things reading 500+ books, 100+ courses, and developing 20+ million in contracts with clients in agencies before with a similar market. This content is solid. Love the enthusiasm and the stories.

There is a point that I think is worth mentioning, there is balance going on in this world but not the type that most people see it, nature balance isn't just about equality or being in a calm state or situation, it's about gathering contradiction together, for instance, life and death, it's what Niche called Dionysus culture. It's a very broad topic, which he explained in Birth of tragedy.

    Hey Pat & Valuetainers,
thanks for being a part of this community! :)
What`s your opinion about reading a book over and over again?
I think on the (leadership)lessons from Napoleon Hill as well as Dale Carnegie.
Sometimes i feel overwhelmed of all the new information which poures in and i want to integrate the proven basics. But new Books refresh the mind and build new connections.
So, guys... i would really appreciate your opinion on this one! :)
    Kind regards from Germany,
    Martin

+M.B. Fitness - this article isn't specifically on reading, but I think it will give you some good tips on how to retain the information you take in from books. Note that one of the points is repetition, but there are others that will help as well. www.patrickbetdavid.com/retain-more-information/ ~ Rebecca (VT support)

So many great attributes needed in a great CEO. Most of us learn through mistakes we make. The most prominent aspect of your videos is you enable us to avoid those mistakes and reflect on how we can execute more effectively. Forever Thinking / Learning / Growing.
Pat, from what you've seen, out of the 19 qualities, which is the most prominent quality that CEO get wrong and ultimately fail in business?
