It’s hard to say tho because ssg also made a team change that made them exponentially better. I think they’re slightly better with deadZone but not enough that you’re gonna see a huge difference

In btb almost no one goes for camo and I don’t get it. It’s so clutch for CTF. On fragmentation I can get all 3 caps in under 3 minutes abusing camo flag runs and razor back
I've had kids in ranked diamond lobbies tell me that camo is worthless. I am speechless, like how tf did you even get out of plat being that smooth brained?
@UCk94jQKDgOY8HYAF8WnadKwIt is not useless, while it is underpowered compared to the other halo games that doesn't make it useless, it's still pretty good you can still make a play or gain easy information with it, although it does need a buff, I'm onyx 1500-1550 and sometimes fall to D6 on a very bad streak and it's still good at this csr, a player shouldn't be allowed to be braindead and go up to the enemies face just because they have a power-up but using it properly will give an easy advantage, sometimes a free kill, sometimes easy entry to an enemy's setup, it depends on how it's used, Lucid just faced unfortunate timing and that's really it, maybe make the camo slightly harder to spot but it should still require skills to make a good play with it just like the OS in infinite, you shouldn't be allowed rush 2 or 3 players and still come out on top

play ranked even if youre having a hard time, it's totally different from social, so social isn't going to help you improve very much. If you're worried about getting bad placement or stats, create an alt account to warmup or learn on so you won't fixate on stats as much. Also, download a few octagons for improving aim and strafe; the spartan level bot is okay for warming up, it just has simple movement. If you give the spartan bot a sniper, it's like an Onyx player on amphetamines. Ranked is also 10x easier with a squad
@@FBi_. Of course 🙂 If you're consuming content from pro players you probably already have a better understanding of the game than many plat players will, you just need the gunplay to back it up. Another tip is ignore the salty toxic players and use your ping function (don't spam it) if you're not giving verbal callouts
4:07 Lucid upset about trading, but that trade only happens w the (still boring asf) Bandit Rifle. The actual BR is only a 2-3 shot beatdown.. I can't even remember anymore bc 343/Microsoft ruined their own game by removing the BR.
Trading beatdowns has always been a part of Halo. DMR beatdown is a 3 hit. If he back-peddled he wouldn't have been in range there and his better aim would've won the fight. IMO the BR was too spammy in Infinite and made jiggle-peeking corners even easier
@ConfidentMelon Everyone can see the BR is the most popular Rifle by far in "social Playlist".. The devs can especially see this. Commando a distant 2nd place. Bandit Rifle always 3rd choice. We already had a Ranked BR ecosystem for 2+ years. Just a poor decision to erase it.. Player base took a big hit over the summer. I doubt it's a coincidence.
@@KaineTremaine I made no arguments regarding popularity or player preference, but I don't think using social playlist as a metric is sound logic (the most popular weapon in social is probably the AR). I almost never see anyone bother to pick up the BR or Commando off the wall in Ranked despite being easily available, which wouldn't make sense if it's so widely preferred. To me, the DMR is a refreshing change that has kept the game from getting stale, all I could ask for now is some new ranked maps. They should just add BR starts into the rotation along with DMR starts to compromise with the salty players
