Wow!! 50 years..Timeless!..saw Doors when 15 in 70 at Boston Arena..now Matthews Arena where Northeastern plays hockey. 2 shows hid in bathroom between shows, saw both shows for 3.50..im 65 now..will be forever etched in my mind..through art and music you live forever. Hope you found peace at last Jim.

Everyone says " Morrison" was a great and he was but i think Robbie was just as good and talented as Jim was. Its like ur great song writer and u get no credit cause the dressed in leather is nicer looking....but i think Robbie is right up theie with some of the great rock n roll song writers in the last 50 years. Not only that he is probably one of the most creative guitarist out there for the last 50 years. And the best part. He's a down to earth guy that appreciates his fan base and gives back with free guitar lessons. Thanks Robbie... also Ray was a super talent. Those 3 together were a big ball of creativity.....

And Jim was mad about the fact that Robby actually was the one who wrote "Light My Fire"
i get the sentiment you're going for but Robbie writing as good as songs as Jim? no way, if you're talking hits i get that but looking at the Doors body of work, we remember them for songs like The End, LA Woman, Five To One, Riders On the Storm, Jim is the clear cut better writer.

When Jim sings Robbies song u would swear Jim wrote them thats how good of a song writer Robbie is. He got into Jims head. Jim was a poet so he had the raw edge...Ray brought the songs to a new level....each need each other.
