Watching as an American - I agree with Rishi, UK is the best country in the world. Such a small island but impacted the entire planet, created the universal language of English, and EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT, LIFE CHANGING inventions like the television, the telephone, the Internet (the freaking Internet), radio, photography, computing, train and jet engines, powered flight, the car, radar, the suit, the trench coat, the Anglosphere countries, the Commonwealth that reached from Singapore to Sri Lanka to Sierra Leone etc. Plus the massive influence on pop culture, music (maybe the biggest influence in history) sports, having arguably the greatest city in the world, London and just having such an elegant way of life, architecture, ceremonies, culture and polite, well educated, articulate and humble people. Brits complain a lot but their achievements are brave, innovative and impressive and they've created an incredible culture and country that will have an everlasting impact on the entire planet. Pretty mind boggling when you think about how relatively small the country is in size and population compared to the entire world.
He was trying to do the right thing, which is rasing taxes. Unfortunately his own group did not see it. I dont think this will make any different i Great Britain. The British people have to change their mindset. They did not want to in EU, because of want, they had to pay for the membership. British wants the benefit from being a member of EU, but they do not want to pay. I think it's because Great Britain is a former colony power. They are used to get things for free in the sence they got minerals and other goods from the countries, they had coleniced. They still don't want to pay, and that's their problem.
Bcos Immigration is not the ONLY problem, its not even the main problem really. its just been screamed to be such, but thats not the reality. Also, being labour does not mean you open the flood gates, and being conservatives does not mean you control it either. Towards the end, even the sign language interpreter had no chills. Poor Sunak.
hahahaha
Telling the British public to put their pet dog to sleep for £300 was never a good selling point.
Thank you for your efforts.

Thank you Rishi Sunak
Greatest man I have seen ever😢
Excellent Sunak ,very good speech
Which Modi and his goons will never speak.
This is called democracy. UK is really a great country. India has lots of "balak budhi" in parliament. Parliament looks like kinder Garten.
Classy guy. Very nice speevh. Imagibe. A politician who acceptd responsibility for his actions and his
failures.
🙏🇬🇧 ❤
🇺🇲🙏💔
See the contrast.Rishi didnt say it was due to election irregularity whereas the Congress alliance is blaming evm wherever they lost the election.
😂 if modi lost, u think he would give a speech like this one?
U are comparing apples and oranges
@@ceva7727 modi understands politics since childhood (no strong family background, no financed family ) and have experience to deal with such situation and he is overall a politician who uses all ways to win an election...he never lose any election till now...he knows the difference between ripened and rotten fruits....i can firmly say that modi is never going to loss any election ...only one possibility exists that he retire from politics.....devil modi 😈
@@ceva7727 your question, sir,is hypothetical because we have not seen losing. But congress after losing the election didn't accept defeat gracefully unlike Rishi of UK.Instead they were celebrating causing some irritation and anxiety among the public. They should acknowledged BJP's win and wished them and offered their cooperation. This didn't happen. That is why I compared Rishi with CIngress alliance.
As an American voter, I wish we had more amicable relations and speeches like this. Both parties are to blame. Much Respect to Mr. Sunak
Send respect from south korea very small...remote country
Did BBC hired someone to make a speech in sign language, and asked Rishi to do the translation for that speech? I'm very confused by this video
You won🎉😊
No, the sign language interpreter is just something TV channels often do when people are watching it so that deaf people can understand. I guess it's easier somehow than trying to do subtitles live?
@@Johnjohnson2695 the OP was praising the sign interpreter performance. Like his was the actual "speech" and Sunak just translated it for us (=

farewell Sunak.
those first 45s of his speech was the most sense he’s made in the last 4 years. Someone who acknowledges they messed up and is APOLOGISING

Respect for this one
Im sorry to see the PM go.l would have liked to see the fruits of this first term.
I feel very uneasy at the prospect of a labour government.
What fruits exactly? Passion Fruit?
Whether his policy worked properly or not, I love how respectful and declined he is. Such a classy speech
I don't get it.
Why vote Labour if you want uncontrolled immigration controlled?
Bcos Immigration is not the ONLY problem, its not even the main problem really. its just been screamed to be such, but thats not the reality. Also, being labour does not mean you open the flood gates, and being conservatives does not mean you control it either. Since conservatives, there has been mass immigration continued...so clearly nothings been done. Try to read more.
Labour won by default, people voted the Conservatives out not Labour in. Labour's vote share decreased
Do something about the extremists ruling London

It’s kind if a shame the forgot the kindness and fairness bit while in power. That was a great speech.
Some British people think that miracles happen overnight, They think Rishi Sunak is a machine .He worked very hard It is their misfortune not to realize it , A hen who lays an egg knows pain in the ass . Anyway l love him ❤
Take him to your india make him Prime minister in there tho Mate..
Why did we have an Indian prime minister in the first place? Imagine China having an English president, it's stupid. Let's keep our culture shall we instead of this nonsense.
