Awesome Advise Chris!! Will take this onboard!! The one thing that scares me the most is waking up on the very first morning of my quit date and not having a cigarette!!! Omg!! I just have to do this!! 🤷♀️😕
I quit smoking 27th March 2020, which is two months and one week today and I really went through hell with the withdrawal symptoms but I’m happy now because I’m getting better, the problem I’m going through right now is indigestion and constipation and I hope it will get better soon
Thank you so much for the kind words, Michelle. This is the first comment I saw when I woke up this morning and it's really put a smile on my face that I'm sure will last the rest of the day. Really glad the videos are making a difference for you! :)
Thanks sirr ,,, you are doing a great work by inspiring people,,, i also need this video today,,, and here it comes,,, i crave & this is my 26 day of complete nicotine free,,, anyhow it passed ,,, thank you so much
My Buddhist friend (Vietnam) said to me yesterday: "Do you think a butterfly ever sees how beautiful it's wings are?. Maybe you should look at life in the same way, AND MOVE AHEAD ACCORDINGLY. You may never know how much beauty is stacked upon your back, so lightly, always allowing you to fly. It's a smudged, easily destroyed beauty you have, but no less, because it's so. Live this way. You might lose it all quicker than you think." I thought to myself, how beautiful, and how true. And how it strenghthens purpose, because it's so simple. What we choose affects, not only ourselves, but everyone, and maybe we should, first, be so grateful, for what we are given, even the unseen, that we may offer that fragile loveliness, to anyone, in passing. But kept first, as an enormous reference point, as to just how much we may be unaware, of all we have to offer.
I think, for you, your kindness helped me, the most. Your vulnerability, so evident, when you spoke of your personal struggles. You never claimed anything was easy, and never claimed it would 'all be over' should I follow your advice. You made it human, living. Addicts are fragile, and easily turned. I still believe not enough is known. But I do believe sound and caring advocates, can, and will provide the support required, to persevere. I respect your continued education. This is not an easy choice you have made, but most commendable. Many other youtube advocates for sobriety, in any form, are not as sincerely seeking to LEARN, but rather too keen to set themselves up as money-making gurus. A guru has an answer. His own. A teacher, hopefully, is always a student, sharing what is learnt, for the grace of all, in the give and take, in the hope of progression and development
I didn’t smoke for 11 days now. Thanks Chris for your videos. It helps me stay away from smoking cigarettes.
