This has to be the best one yet. It is refreshing to hear a politician who can articulate his thoughts coherently unlike most of his peers and colleagues in the NLA whose speeches in public appearances makes you regret your actions of voting for them. I think his constituents are very lucky to have him as their representative and Naga's in general can greatly benefit from his leadership ... I am high asf right now and I think it was a bright idea to roll up and smoke a joint, borrow an earphone before I began to watch and listen to this conversation, and the poem he recited, loved it. I didn't know he was a poet before. It is an added bonus to have a politician with the poet's heart who's sensitive to the issues that pervades our society. I think our society today needs a leader who can think beyond the good of his/her own community but for the Naga society in general . We should acknowledge the past mistakes and not dwell or shield it in our narrow minded ways, even if it is at our expense we should right the wrongs of the past, and not take advantages at the expense of others . I am not advocating for political correctness at all times but we need not engage in narrow minded tribalist politics for such things only breeds resentment in the hearts of other disadvantage groups. I really love the term 'Tribal Narcissism' and his perspective on it. I think it is time we loosen our too strong an attachment to one's own group and tribe and be more proud in being a Naga in a true sense. No tribe is bigger than the other and no tribe smaller. We are one big family.. I will definitely check out his books once his government deposits my mom's salary..!
