Im gonna defend turret weapons. They may have lower damage and weak to flares but they are extremely useful against anything faster than you. My anaconda turns like a truck in a traffic jam. So if i set up turrets below the ship where i cant target anyone it will still do damage passively.

Now, I wasn't sure which guardian weapons to go for. Are the ax cannons, if turreted as per your awesome instructions, really the recommended ones to go for? Cause there are 3 guardian weapon options if I'm not mistaken? Cheers o7
So, to answer your questions…. AX and Guardian weapons come in only two varieties, fixed and turreted. Class 3 (large) turreted multi-cannons are definitely the best weapons for killing scouts because they are so fast/agile. If you’re just out for fun/challenge you can go for fixed AX MC’s, but you’re going to work a lot harder for kills. AX weapons and Guardian weapons are two different things. AX weapons are human technology that can be purchased by anyone at any outfitter that offers them-things like multi-cannons, missiles and flak. Theses are of very limited use against anything bigger than a Thargoid scout. I have solo killed interceptors with only AX weapons, but it was extremely difficult! Guardian weapons must be “unlocked” by Guardian Technology Brokers in a fairly complicated and time-consuming process-similar to engineering. The most powerful and effective Guardian weapon is the gauss cannon. This is the main weapon that most people use when fighting anything bigger than a scout.
