Does it matter what the runes are made of? Do they need to be in any special selection of stone to be more "workable" with one's own energy? Are there places you should versus should not buy them from? Meaning, are some runes more "authentic" than others? Like, I'm sure our ancestors didn't shop around, they just used and worked with what was in their environment. I know. But in these times, with all the distractions of modern life, does the composition and origin matter at all? Thank you, Tova!
Hi Shelly, When it comes to your personal Runes, I would suggest you think what you are drawn to, ie are you into crystals or are you and earth witch love all thing s in the ground, or do you have an infinity to the Trees... Yes It is better to use a natural substsance due to the energies within them. So when you work out what speaks to you then you can either buy them or make them, I find stone works for me basic nothing fancy because the energies make them exciting and open up portals. When buying or seek the Gods to find you a set that is just right you will be amazed how all of a sudden you will come by them be it a gift or a find. If buying yourself look at them feel them and see if you feel drawn to them they will call to you. Seek Odin and Freyja for a sign once you see ones you like dont buy straight away wait for an answer for Odin etc.... Hope this helps you Blessings Always
People should see the runes in our modern alphabet as it has an influence. And so see the first letter of your name as an Arcano maybe the key to know the energy who walks with you
