But the thing is, in NCT, there are certain common members and they all do stuff both as the entire NCT and as sub units. They branch out from the same group but target sort of different audiences while not changing the music style too much.
But with this Northern Isles- United Kingdom-Great Britain thing, I don’t see the point. It’s not like they branched from the same thing. The formation of UK and GB happened in the mid 1900s . The places that comprise them like England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have very different cultures, different languages, accents, etc. They even have different governments.

I’m Cantonese and I always find it fascinating how some Korean words sound similar even though I would say it’s further from similarity compared to other Asian languages. Englishman in Korean sounds just like “ying gok yun” Cantonese for Englishman and so if their transliteration is the same, I would say yes we tend to use that word interchangeably with any Uk person. Even though it is more appropriately applied to England specifically. Though I didn’t really say anything Josh didn’t know so you can ignore all this 😅

There's some weird place names all over. In southern France there's a town called Condom. Nancy is in the east of France, while you'll find Angers and Brest in the west. In the Cherbourg area there's some good ones, like Helleville, and a tiny town that Cherbourg would have incorporated long ago, Gouberville. My fellow Canadians may enjoy Tocqueville.
Here in Alberta there's a couple weird named places I've been to, Vulcan and Balzac. Don't forget Sexsmith or Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump either.
Saskatchewan has Climax as well as Forget. There's a Flin Flon, Manitoba, and St Louis du Ha! Ha!, Quebec. Yes, the exclamation points are part of the name.
Newfoundland is a treasure trove of weird place names. There's Come By Chance, Blow Me Down, Nameless Cove, Goobies, Spread Eagle, and of course Dildo.
