Why do you make sure Cassava is not grown on the land for the maize production. What will happen if cassava has been previously grown on the land before using for maize production?
You need 8 bags compound D or 4 bags double D at planting and 8 bags AN( shared between 2 dressings). You should get around 9-16 tonnes if white maize and 20 tonnes if it's PANNAR yellow high breed maize per Ha
Too much of theory. In practice, how does this all work out? What are the labour costs for applying fertilizer manually for 53,300 stems? This is not a job one person or a couple can do using all the manual techniques listed.
3500kgs per Ha is the least yield.... in Kenya 30 bags of 90kgs per HA(2.5acres) is the below-average yield in fact under good practices farmers are getting 7875kgs per acre ...We plant with fertilizer @100kgs per acre DAP and 100kgs per acre at knee height

Review your fertilizer application calculations. Applying 8g per stand in a farm with plant population of 53,000 requires around 8 bags of fertilizer.

Cassava has deep rooted stems which may impede the movement of water in the soil and is not suitable for maize.

Y don't you put single Seed instead of two seeds
Because they allowed theirselves the luxury of choosing the seedlings that look the strongest.

2 seeds at that distance won't give u what u want it's supposed to be 1 seed per hole
You plant 2 seeds after germination you remove the weaker one to remain with one plant
