Oh, this is actually something that's been talked about a lot when it comes to the whole trope of a magical transformation in animated shows, especially magical girl anime, and the conclusion (at least to people on tumblr) was that the transformation creates so much energy that if the villains were to disturb it or get too close, it'd immediately vaporise them leading to their premature deaths. The more real life rooted, and a bit boring, answer is that if you've already animated that sequence once, it can be reused over and over again as a padding for extra minutes for the episode, reusing the same animation is also cheaper and makes it faster to produce a single episode, which is what a lot of long running animated series such as the Simpsons, Family Guy etc use to keep up with deadlines.
