    Made this tonight for dinner and it's sooo good and very flavorful! Added spring onions and a bit of crushed garlic and sliced onion in the stuffing. Turned out really well and the meat was juicy! Thanks for the simple recipe!

    I've just tried this recipe...
    literally just finished eating... It was soooo delicious 🥰 even my British family love it.

    I been searching what is the best ingredients para sa masarap na lechong manok ito yung pinaka gusto konh recipe kasi na miss ko ang andok lechong manok dito sa san diego California walang andoks hahahaha im going to do this using my new wave oven 👍😁

    Recipe is good. Skin is just like andoks. I'd reduce the lime next time i try it though. No need to chop, the parts separated easily at the joints and the meat fell off the bones

    kainis hindi mukhang andoks chicken ang ginawa ko. very maputla! nasayang lang yung manok. next time I will try your recipe. very simple lang pala gawin.

      try nyo po marami na nag try at convinced sila na lasang Andoks :)
      pde den pong baka sa toyo na ginamit nyo, pde nyo po i-try ung datu puti o kya silver swan or any of our local toyo na brand.. kasi ung kikkoman light lang tlga sya kahit sa adobo..

      Maricel Maaranen 250 degrees Lang naman talaga Ang oven . 400 Fahrenheit Yung ginamit Ng nag posts which is when converted to Celsius is around 200 degrees celcius.

      Tinaga taga ko lng ng cleaver sa kahoy na sangkalan. Kung panu den sya chinapchop sa Andoks ganon lng den. The inside looked like the same as Andoks too.

      Sassy Pinoy Foodie It did taste like Andok’s, we used 2 Cornish hens for the chicken,we just had to drive to the nearest Asian store to buy Mang Tomas Lechon sauce. Lol Thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

      Yes!!! Fave den nmin lahat yan dito since mis na den nmin ang Andoks.. Masarap den sya pag sa uling nilitson kaso since ung iba nsa abroad pinaka convenient na ung oven or ung turbo broiler..       Eto po,
      Ingredients

      1 whole chicken approx 1.5k
      1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
      1/2 cup soy sauce
      1/3 cup lime, kalamansi or lemon (any of these)
      1 tsp brown sugar (white sugar will do)
      2 stalk tanglad or lemongrass (pounded and tied to fit chicken)
      1 tbsp rock salt

      Steps:
      - clean chicken, rub with 1 tbsp salt, rinse and put on a plate or bowl
      - mix soy sauce, kalamansi or lime, brown sugar and pepper into a big bowl - blend well
      - put the chicken into the mixture and marinate 6-12 hours
      - heat oven to 400°F
      - take the chicken out of the fridge from marinade
      - put the chicken in the oven for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown (depends on how big the chicken is)
      - check if chicken is cooked by inserting a stick through the breast or thigh of chicken
      - see the meat texture, it should be white and not pinkish
      - when done, take the chicken out of the oven and brush with the oil drippings
      - serve with soy sauce with calamansi and sili

      hi ung sa kin po hindi ko na binaligtad pero may iba binabaligtad kasi gusto nila brown na brown ung balat. pg may rack kayo n gamit pedeng hindi na, pero kung directly nakalgay sa tray maaring baligtarin nyo po.

      Hi pra sa ken po inde ko n sya ginamit ulit kasi bka macontaminate ung susunod n chicken kasi 6-12 hrs po ntin bbabad ung manok. Pede nyo po pagsabayin ng babad sa mas malaking llagyan.

      Pede nmn po ilagay sa cavity ng chicken kung fresh rosemary or rub sa buong chicken kung ung dried na, pero inde n po sya lasang andoks pero masarap den mga mala kenny rogers n roast chicken nmn ang kklabasan nya

      pede den nmn may rotisserie mae even nga ang pagkakaluto non. silip silipin mo n lng after 30 mins kasi di ko tantyado kung gano kalayo ung chicken sa apoy or coil

      Ingredients

      1 whole chicken approx 1.5k
      1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
      1/2 cup soy sauce
      1/3 cup lime, kalamansi or lemon (any of these)
      1 tsp brown sugar (white sugar will do)
      2 stalk tanglad or lemongrass (pounded and tied to fit chicken)
      1 tbsp rock salt

      Steps:
      - clean chicken, rub with 1 tbsp salt, rinse and put on a plate or bowl
      - mix soy sauce, kalamansi or lime, brown sugar and pepper into a big bowl - blend well
      - put the chicken into the mixture and marinate 6-12 hours
      - heat oven to 400°F
      - take the chicken out of the fridge from marinade
      - put the chicken in the oven for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown (depends on how big the chicken is)
      - check if chicken is cooked by inserting a stick through the breast or thigh of chicken
      - see the meat texture, it should be white and not pinkish
      - when done, take the chicken out of the oven and brush with the oil drippings
      - serve with soy sauce with calamansi and sili
