The demographics of the judges are telling. Trump has appointed the most Appeals Court judges since President Jimmy Carter. Not one of them is Black. With a strongly conservative set of judges, many of them will affect judicial outcomes for at least the next generation on topics of critical importance to Black Americans, including policing, sentencing, voting, healthcare, and racial equity. To highlight the impact of these judges, a recent panel, all appointed by Trump, blocked a lower court ruling and is allowing Texas Governor Greg Abbott to only have one mail-in ballot drop off box in each county in the state.

@@Jonno2summit Your point was quite correct, I'd just add that parties over time do evolve. Look at the Southern States in the past, overwhelmingly allied with the Democratic Party. The same area today with a few exceptions is mostly Republican and many other states and regions have flipped party alignment over time.
@@pielero70 You are also correct and I'm glad you brought that up. Back in the 1800's the South was like 80+% Democrat. And the American Civil War actually WAS divided along political lines. Republicans fought against slavery and Democrats fought FOR it. That was the 1860s - a long time ago.
Then arrives the racial battles of the 1950s and 60's. The Democrat Party filibustered AGAINST the Civil Rights Act of 1964. They didn't just filibuster agianst it, but hold the filibuster record to this day for the longest filibuster (that's a way of fighting legislation via delay).

The only line that exists now is "generally" Rural vs Urban, but those are very foggy lines. We all wish these stupid lines and divisions didn't exist, but I guess that's human nature.
