EW motorcycles have turn on the spot, which is same as Bren Carrier, not same as Cavalry. Canadian version also gets an SMG for +3 points, which lets them split fire if you want to get within 12". Check that out in D-Day Brit & Canadian Sectors.
I like SS Aufklarungs units with SS Schwimmwagen transports. 4 veteran guys that can get any weapons and a German MMG on the car. Very fast, easy to hide and veteran.
Japan has a light truck option which is the same for the Dodge 3/4th both in capacity and points. The only advantage for the 3/4th is it can upgrade to a HMG while the Japanese is strictly a MMG for armament.
How about German Second Lt. as an honorable mention? Defacto only 20 points to turn an otherwise lame backline holder into 6 shots that don’t take a penalty when moving an shooting.
You forgot the Chinese guerrilla cell unit. They get to forward deploy, ignore movement penalties for the 1st turn (always 12inch move) and can swap their rifles for pistols for -3pts And if taken as communist they get a special 9inch move before the game starts.
In my opinion Papuan infantry from the Australian army absolutely need an honorable mention

can FSSF scouts be taken in anything else than their own platoon selector?
Yes they ar allowed in generic reinforced Platoons
