I just followed all of the steps that you went over and was successful in replacing the head gasket for my 68 Spit. Thanks so much! - Al in Canada
PS now I’m ready to work on my 71 MGB (I have a 76 in excellent shape)

First attempt at replacing my MK3 67 Spitfire head gasket and these videos were really helpful, good work and thanks! BTW same issue with small oil leak at the back of the engine, plus a weep on the push rod side (bolts seemed too loose under the cam).

Can you tell me what brand gloves you are using? I notice that your gloves do not tear or break because they get progressively more dirty as the job progresses. You are doing a really good job on all your videos, they are clear and easy to understand. Thank you.

Hey, thanks for the compliment on our videos, much appreciated! The gloves are just Microflex Diamond Grip gloves. Nothing too special. They do still tear though. Gotta buy in bulk!

When re torquing the head, is there a way of doing it WITHOUT having to take the rocker shaft off?

Did you happen to use copper spray gasket sealant on the bottom of the head gasket?
