I've been following your Death Battles for some time. Loved the one for Seiya and Sailor Moon, BTW! If I could make a suggestion for another battle, I suggest a team battle, 3-on-3! Either The Powerpuff Girls vs. The Crystal Gems, or a parody battle like the real channel (McGruff vs Smokey the Bear, for example): Ed, Edd, n Eddy VS The Three Stooges!

= While both of them can buff their stats...
- ... his inability to spam his strongest attacks and Joker being able to restore his Mana makes it unlikely for that to happen
- ... Joker could kill him before that happens due to him taking all 3 stats
- ... Neku can't nerf Joker's stats while Joker can

- Is vulnerable to Joker's one-shot and dura-neg moves

But neku is technically more versatile if he were to get creative with his imagination even though there's only around 300+ pins so in theory he could be more versatile but in practice joker is

@@whyareyoureadingthissmh Yeah, primarily through the Doomed psych, which allow Neku to inflict status ailments on his foe at the start of the battle. These include slowly deteriorating an enemy’s health, decreasing their attack power or defensive capabilities, or flat out immobilizing them. In NEO, this capabilities are expanded on since he can also chain enemies (which increases the damage output of his further attacks), freeze them, entomb them, electrify them, burn, or poison them.
@@thebigchungus4515 joker has various equipments that counter those plus he generally has more ways to debuff neku so I doubt it'd be a significant enough change to change the outcome

Yeah, the difference in cosmologies between these 2 should put into perspective exactly how lopsided this matchup was. Joker is going toe to toe with gods that exist on a conceptual level. Yaldabouth and Adam Kadmon warp reality and fuse dimensions like its a typical Tuesday. Bear in mind this is a lowball, his speed and durability could be scaled much higher depending on whether you intetpret the skill Big Bang as a recreation of the event that created the universe, as well as if Persona feats scale to crazy levels its parent series Shin Megami Tensei scales to, which can go as high as beyond outerversal.
The Noise and Reapers are powerful, theres no doubt about thad much, and Neku being able to keep up with them, Joshua in particular, easily puts him near the top of his verse, only really below Joshua following the end of the first game and higher dimensional entities discussed in NEO, but even the top of Neku's verse would have a tough time against the most recent Wild Card user, standing no real chance against anyone from the upper mid tiers of the wider SMT verse.
Sure Neku has greater versatility and potential, he just can't keep up with Joker.
I do agree with a lot of your point the only one i disagree with is that joker should be able to heal mp. To my knowledge ( correct me if im wrong) but he can only restore mp though items. And i don't think when compareing character you should take consumable items into the equation. By that logic they can just keep healing with items too

Ok. Granted I can’t blame you Joker had a meteic crap ton of possible skills and Equipment he can use but.
Passive Equip items like SP adhesive’s and Skills like Invigorate 1-3 and holy whisper restore SP passively without Joker needing to do anything.
