Yes, you're correct, it's "Hah-SEE-en-da". Brits invariably mispronounce Spanish and Italian words, especially words with the letter "A". e.g. there is no such word as "MATCH-o" ! The proper pronunciation is "MAH-cho".
also, in the original Spanish you wouldn't hear that first "H" -- it would be a glottal stop instead

So many companies have stepped in it over the years - sometimes you wonder if the advertising execs are still living in the 1950's,
or that they think that the "locker room" humor they share with their golfing buddies is going to be ok to say in public.
Using a tragedy to make money is not acceptable.
The Onion... they actually dialed most of their stuff back a little when they moved their offices from Madison Wisconsin to NYC.
I can't even type some of te spoof articles and ads that they ran back in the 1990's.

3:21 I don’t like the billboard, as the adult child of an alcoholic father (currently in recovery). I do think the billboard is in poor taste, but I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with it legally.
When I was in the U.S. Army, for a while we started to recieve steak quite frequently. It was later reported that they were conducting a test to find out if soldiers would accept horse meat in there diet. It tasted pretty good to me.
Hi Kabir, a lot of people eat horse meat, on purpose! I've never tried it, but I can find it for sale. As long as it's properly labeled I don't have any problem with it. It's mostly unpopular in countries with a stong horse culture, and places in the western U.S.
I think the liquor store ads were great! I wish they still had them.

I do agree that tricking people into eating horse meat is cruel and should be illegal.
I don't mind humorous ads and I really love the quirky off the wall ones but some of these, like the alcohol ones, aren't really funny, nothing that suggest taking a drug instead of actual therapy is funny.
As long as there are funny comments on the internet we have hope.

To be fair… Memorial Day is supposed to be a day of mourning for brave military who lost their lives but we observe it with fun BBQs and retail sales. Exploiting tragedy is nothing new.

I can understand why they were offensive, but I laughed anyway. Those alcohol ones had me rolling. And the one about women staying in abusive relationships made me laugh too. I laugh at the absurdity that some lady stayed with some guy abusing her only because he had pizza. 🤣🤣🤣

How would horse meat be cheaper or more plentiful than beef they're already farming? Just an opportunity thing? Like they somehow ended up with the meat and used it instead of losing it?
Horse meat is cheap because there's no demand for it in most of the world.
If you go into a store at a busy time, yah a coupon that shouldn't be excepted gets excepted because I don't want to argue with you. It's actually put in different and none of the terms apply. You get 35 cents off and I wave goodbye.

If you think is odd they don’t eat beef in India but find repulsive to eat horse meat you should think about it more throughly.

Yeah, the second Hacienda billboard was fine. It even seemed to be rightly making fun of Trump and his wall. A lot better than making fun of dead people who had been brainwashed by a sociopath.
Kenneth Cole is not actually the Kenneth Cole from decades ago. Like Bell & Howell, and Sharper Image, and Brookstone... Any company can use the name as long as they pay for it. Ppl don't know this. Re:Kenneth Cole watches are made by the company "Geneva" based in New York but all made in China from really really cheap materials. If you've ever been to one of those markets and a stall is selling Geneva watches in a box with a retail price tag of $299 - but you can get it for $15 hmmmm scammed!
These ads are offensive. There's being "noticed" and then there is just gross. The Boston marathon bombing ad got under my skin like no other. I live outside of Boston.

I don’t trust ground beef. Lots of supermarkets will mix chicken, lamb, and pork leftovers into ground beef. The bigger the supermarket, the more common the practice.
