- Fall musky fishing with suckers on the Chippewa Flowage in Northern Wisconsin. Fall time musky fishing means using suckers as bait to catch big muskies. In this episode I head out to the famous Chippewa Flowage to try and catch a giant musky.
Looks like a great trip. Congrats on a nice Muskie.
Thanks for watching! Wish I could of stayed for a few more days
@@AnthonysOutdoors ya had to leave a island in the middle of nowhere with just you and your dog. I would like two weeks just maybe in September. Good luck the rest of the Muskie season as well as deer season. Best time of the year.
Hunter has gotten so big! Such a good boy. That's some good fishing out there. Videos are amazing and very informative. Video editing gets better with every upload. Thanks for the great content and keep up the good work Anthony!
Thanks for your continued support! And yes... Hunter is a chonker!
My husky would love fishing on the boat. Glad you have a companion during those days :)
Awesome musky and nice job netting that on your own.
Thanks, I suprise myself sometimes.
Love this! I was so excited when I found out you got one out there we got our asses kicked out deep up shallow back out deep and a little bit of dignity that we did have left the wind took from us 😂🤦
Thanks for watching. We will have to get on some fish this late fall further south.
@@AnthonysOutdoors just say when! I've got a couple irons in the fire might have some spots that can be fished in Nov Dec I'll have some info for you here in the next couple weeks
Looks like a blast! An island camping trip up there is on my bucket list. Those Fall colors are beautiful!
Wow! I'm truly impressed with your videos and professionalism.
I don't know how you caught that fish by yourself.
Great video! Love that you show camp life while fishing.
Thanks for watching! I enjoy showing the entire trip when I make videos. I don't like making videos that just seem like a, "hey look what I caught" highlight reel.
Love how your dog yelled at you when you got excited about the fish
Thanks for watching! Yeah he does that often when we net a big fish!
Just found out about you! Been going up to northwoods and the Big Chip for about 6 years now. Parents bought a lake house on lake winter and been searching for my first musky. The joke is whoever is in the boat with me is likely catch one. I've been the captain of the boat a couple times and each time someone caught one. Looks like I'm a good guide just not good at hooking into one. Best of luck for this upcoming season.
Thanks for watching! The Chip is definitely an awesome place.
Love the chip
Those water temps the muskies are piled in the weeds or back of bays. Water is getting close to turnover and the muskies head shallow. Had hell of a day up there the same weekend u were there when it snowed on that friday
Even dog lost its nerve
Thanks for creating content, Anthony. Also, your dog is a huge drama queen.
Yes he is. Spoiled brat for sure.
Awesome video, it’s beautiful up there right now. I’m going to be there the first week of June next year, any pointers? Thinking of throwing a lot of bucktails and top water, with some rubber if nothings working.
Thanks for watching! Bucktails and topwaters will be the name of the game that time of year. Fish should be in weed beds and stump flats then.
Can you do a video on your sucker rig setup? I've never musky fished with suckers and I'm not even sure where to start.
Yep, stay tuned. I plan to make a sucker rig specific video in a few weeks.
was that little banana island?
No sir. Was only on the west side day 1
😢
