Finally! It's lights out, and away we go! The most anticipated F1 Scalextric car ever and it's finally here! However... I had to send it back and got a perfect replacement. And I love it!

I have received my car from supplier here in the Czech Republic and the packaging states that it is DPR so I purchased the relevant chip, however, it's totally impossible to carry out the conversion. Having contacted Hornby in UK, I was informed that car was not designed to run on a digital track only on the old analogue track. So my question is are you running it on an analogue track or a digital track? Mike

They lied to you. It is DPR and it even says so on their website.

I received mine last week. The front suspension is junk! Tires are out of round and tires rub the aero treatment above tires. Some times it stops car from moving.

Send it back! I did and got a perfect replacement. The more people do that, the more I think they will up the quality control.
