Those stories are soooo true! Lived in that area in '05 and now I can't believe how CONGESTED it is on Alamo Ranch Pkwy and Culebra outside 1604 now. But, the ones complaining about people from around the world moving to S.A., moved there too. TXDOT fix this issue!!!
There are no solutions anymore. There’s no more raw land to develop for roadways anymore. The congestion out there is baked into the cake at this point
As much as people dont agree...People moving from California and everywhere else, migrant influxes...our infrastructure LITERALLY cannot handle it. If our power goes down this winter...dont be crying about Senators and Governors....start locally where we are gouged for $$$ for ANY CPS movement...of course our Mayor is on the board of CPS...so rest assured..we will be "wrong".
Why did you leave out the influx of drivers who found a by pass through an adjacent neighborhood where they blatantly ignore stop signs and speed limits? I will add that this small neighorhood WAS incorporated by the city but has no sewage line, no sidewalks, and no effective police action to curb these non- tax paying drivers. During peak traffic hours some residents can't even get out of their driveways or even check their mail boxes!
Why do San Antonian's have this hive mind mentality to all move to Alamo Ranch/Sea World area? There are three other sides of town like the Northeast yet people are obsessed with moving to the Far West/Northwest?
When I moved out here in early 2019, it was because newly-constructed homes were much more within our budget than in any of the other desirable areas of the city. We knew traffic on Culebra (outside of 1604) was going to be troublesome, but it has gotten much worse. Now, the area by Harlan HS is exploding w/ commerical & multifamily development & traffic at Culebra/Talley is growing exponentially. My wife and I wanted a new build home, but now we regret our decision to move out here. Hopefully interest rates come down a little more and we will be able to move in 2025.
@@cl8one yes but homes were always more affordable on the Southside and Northeast side. Even though the area has exploded, which it has been for some time, people continue to move out there.
But then in the other video, residents don’t want VIA buses in the neighborhood. Buses will help alleviate some traffic if planned properly. These people just don’t know what’s good for them.

That's exactly what it is. Why is there this hive mind mentality to all cram in that one area of town?

What did these people think when they bought a house that are 6 to an acre

Because people work on the far west side?
Too many "brothers" on the NE side

@@JustLouIt I don't get it, why won't Latinos just say they don't want to live with Black people?
