Seeing how it stops with the tall grass on the slight downhill... tells me it will not work with my mole filled yard, which is cut to 4" which allows my battery operated mower to clear the mole hills and leave a "fresh" look. I'm continuing to watch this because I like seeing how technology advances. Thank you for showing us!!

taking your mower for a walk day! I think it works well for what it is... it would work if you have a really nice (weed free) lawn ,,,,, no crab grass... weeds and such... the reason is growth time... if it is all just grass then it will grow evenly.... but the crab grass will double it's height.... so you would probably need to run it daily on a normal type lawn... you know......like most of us have.
Hey Dustin, long-time sub, and I love the channel! But I don't think we need to worry about robots taking over anytime soon, haha. At least not in my lifetime!
The lawn care company employed by my HOA is contemplating leasing and installing robotic mowers to maintain our 183 yards next year, offering a ~30% cost reduction. I foresee this trend gaining traction over the next five years. Although they'll continue using gas blowers and edgers🙃 but I kinda hope to see little bots roaming around at night.

@@DustinDunnill My Luba is amazing been using for over a year. For the same price as this one I get 1.5 acres. My Luba will cut for about 2.5 hours before charging. It works very good on my steep hill in my yard. I can set the angle that it cuts lines and the new model will let you do designs. For the same price I think Luba is a much better deal but this was a great video also. I like to see whats out there and how different mowers work.
@@pauleggers1834 I'll either get the Luba 2 10,000 or the X7 Pro. The Luba has a much lower chassis and the wheels knock down more grass before mowing. Do you find that it affects the quality of the mow?
@@cd7856 No I absolutely love my Luba. I did a lot of research before I decided to buy a robot mower. The Luba is well worth the money. I run mine every 2-3 days. I bought it to save time but its fun to watch so I don't save as much as I thought I would.
It's clearly made for maintaining lawns. Not for cutting overgrown lawns 🤦♂️

That’s silly. Just pay a twelve year old to operate a 1950’s push lawn mower. In the time it took you to even set it up, the kid could have mowed the entire neighborhood (on both sides of the block/street)
