This is reality. How anyone can think EV with batteries is clean energy is nuts. The mining industry that gets the cobalt and all the other chemicals to make battery for an EV vehicle, and how unstable the cells are is just mind blowing to me. This is like claiming that the Ford Pinto is the safest most economic vehicle off it’s time..
how can people that have all the information at their fingertips be so ignorant?
My company’s insurance refused to insure any EV hazardous materials loads if we continued to pull the batteries for one of the Big EV manufacturers after several problems during transport. I would never put my family in a EV after what I have seen.

This reminds me how when the federal reserve was given $10 billion from Congress to help people pay for their mortgages so they would not default on their homes. As in every day Americans were granted $10 billion so they would not default on their personal home loans and then 24 hours later they/Ben Bernaki turned around and said oh we saw the numbers we looked at things and we decided this just wasn’t the best way to go, and we wrote them a $10 billion check into a black hole… We have no idea what they decided to do with that $10 billion but they most certainly did not give it to every day average Americans to help them to not default on their home mortgages… You should go back and look that up and those clips, we probably have to look it up in alternative media, but the great day that the federal reserve in 24 hours stole $10 billion from the American people overnight…

EV's in California, are not possible for several decades, until generation capacity is increased, and new transmission lines are installed.
Most folks can't afford new trucks or modifications for emissions.
Unless California, figures out some way of teleporting goods around the state, Trucks, old of polluting or otherwise will still be needed.

California never had a surplus, the fact of the matter they were neglecting to pay down pension liabilities, which is still down some 200-300 billion.
And CA received $190+ Billion in "CARES Act" printed money from the Feds in 2020. No real surplus.

It was never gonna happen in the first place. The entire state power grid would have to be upgraded to support the draw. That's every power generation facility, substation, transformer, transmission and distribution line. Pg&e has been upgrading the gas system for the past 14 years since the San Bruno explosion and still haven't finished it. People not in the industry don't understand the magnitude of scale it would take to make that happen. I've worked on upgrading their gas system since 2012 so not just talking out of my ass.
I knew the electric truck push was going to get delayed. When they banned 2009 and older they extended before enforcement. All the owner ops that had receipts in order got the grants to get newer models.

We demoed electric trucks at work and they do not work. The range doesn’t add up and the charging time doesn’t add up so we went to the new Freightliners with the drop axle to save fuel.

I live in California and I’m a former truck driver. This governor is the biggest criminal we’ve had in this state for a long time and probably one of the biggest criminals in the United States.
Oil companies were NEVER gonna let EV and Solar go mainstream.
My or the highway. The final straw for me is the addition of my driver's license to collect unemployment insurance. I'm not going for that. As I see it unemployment insurance is taxable income. If I don't claim it neither can the state of California. That money goes back to my employer. Currently I'm shopping outside California to buy a home. Guess I'll take the highway.
I moved to California in 1998 as a brand new adult and left in 2014 as a hopefully wiser one. California is a revolving door state that bleeds dry anyone who moves there to make a living but fails to save up enough to escape.
Which probably explains how they ended up in that predicament. The voters are all either wealthy retirees who bought their homes for five figures before I was born, or people that are bad with money and can't afford to leave.

I left California in 2020, gave up us citizenship, live in a free country, i work income tax free. My business pays no income tax to FTB or IRS. Keep in mind that California's deficit does not include their debt that is being slowly paid on with their funding, which only covers part of the interest.
They seem to have left out the $850 billion debt and the $1.2 trillion unpaid outstanding pensions.

That one Hundred billion dollar surplus was not actually true, they had $100 billion that they didn’t spend where it was needed like infrastructure roads fighting crime etc. I remember in 2022 I was driving down California 99 south just north of Bakersfield and was literally watching a group of five guys rob a train on the side of the highway they had their little Honda pulled up next to a park train and the driver was standing there in the with the drivers door open two guys were on the ground one or two were up in the train car throwing packages down and throwing them in the back of their car right on the side of the highway.
