Lisen said afterwards that Matrix might have needed another year of schooling instead of compeating. Matrix was really frightened by a large collumn and some lions on the course. He was tense from the beginning.

...Why didn't she go and check her horse? Unless there's a rule against it, she had no excuse to not go check on her horse. She was able to get up on her own and walk, she should have had the grace and respect for her horse to make sure it was okay too. I know the grooms rushed in, but that's just disrespectful of her.

Why would she? I can't see a reason why she should and it's not disrespectful at all. After a rider falls on a big event like these they usually need a check up from a nurse while the groomers catch the horse and take it to a vet. check. The horse are in better hands if the groomers catch it, they usually know the horse 10 times more than the rider.
I have never seen a rider on a big event like these rush after the horse.. They spend all their money and time to these horses. They love them really much so they do care about them but that does not mean they have to rush after them after an incident. If the horse would still laying on the ground it would be different because then it's really hurt and then they (the riders) can stay to calm the horse while getting help.
