Hey this is Tomas from the video, this is my RUclips account. The bridge is maintained by a federation created by IOV labs, the foundation that created Rootstock. They however don't have any power to drain the funds as it is all controlled by the HSM (Hardware security modules). This devices sign all the transfers in and out of Rootstock. The role of the federation is simply to keep this devices running and connected to the internet. They are spread around the world and the network has been running uninterruptedly since 2018. If you have any questions feel free to ask them and I'll do my best to answer it :)
SOV is amazing but the majority is not yet aware of Sovryn Zero protocol existence. Zero is way more better than MakerDAO which less and less affordable to small holders. On Zero you borrow for less cost and transaction fee is low. Zero is the most affordable borrowing protocol and works very well.
Maxi bitcoiners are smart people when it’s about tech, but when it’s about making bitcoin accessible to everyone, they so bad! They should promote and support platform like Sovryn. I don’t really understand how they see things. Sovryn even as it is today can bring so many people to bitcoin. Instead they are just wasting time going to new ideas and ideas forgetting to render accessible the existing one.

Great question!
who owns the bridge between rootstock and BTC main chain?
