    The main focus for markets now is Nvidia, which has powered a large chunk of the S&P 500’s recent earnings. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

      I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

      As smart investors who understand the true value of the underlying business, we never let the current market price guide us into the quality and success of our investments... i take advise from my fin Advisor that has developed a trusted strategy that allows the market serve us.....we take advantage of the emotions and stupidity of others to add great companies on the cheap.

    After a headline-making stock market crash last week, if you didn't panic and simply did nothing then you'd be up more than 5% this week. If you are an Nvidia shareholder, you'd be up 11%. This is the difference between people who don't invest in emotions. How do I insulate myself from following trends on the news?

      A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

    Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

    • @Vivianlaure4
      @Vivianlaure4 25 дней назад

      People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

    • @Deboramichael1
      @Deboramichael1 25 дней назад

      Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

    Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

      Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Adriana Catherine

    Strong BUY. Still early innings. NVIDIA is the dominant leader in AI and the preferred technology partner globally. Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). Buy this stock and wait. You will be rewarded.

It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. Dan forgot Google is mostly using their own GPUs. NVDIA chips are purchased mostly for GCP and therefore paid for by external customers who pay an hourly rates.

    It really is a challenge. What do you do when your cost basis is under $4 a share. I guess I should have sold when Dan was gloating over that pull-back

    It's funny people keeping bringing up companies doing their own chips...People don't understand how hard it is to design your own chips. None of these mega caps have any chance of making anything close to what Nvidia offers. AMD a distant second is 2 years behind and Nvidia is surrounded by the CUDA moat.

    Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Dan Niles. His background consists of REPEATEDLY forecasting an implosion by Nvidia for a couple of years. NVDA share price has gone up 20X despite his consistently bearish outlook about the company. Must be some kind of record for being WRONG!
