When I was considering an exit from medicine into health-tech, one of the biggest uncertainties I had was around the granular detail of what a job in tech actually entailed. For example, what kind of job-roles were there, what tasks would I be doing in each, what meetings would I be attending, what tools would I be using and of course, what are the perks and ahem remuneration like? I really wanted these questions answered, so that I could make a judgement call on if I had the knowledge, skills and interests to do well at a tech start-up and enjoy it. But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t find enough detail to help me make this judgement. Today, I’m changing that…

Thank you! Highly recommend leadership courses like the HLA (free) and tech/ entrepreneurial programmes like Bitelabs health tech fellowship (paid, so see if you can get uni or work to fund it).
