- In this video we install a new downpipe on the RB25det Skyline. Is it worth it? Will there be better sound? Better Performance?

This is my 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT in the beautiful color Bayside Blue. I'm currently building it to be a 400hp realible summer car!

Husk at hvis hele eksosanlegget er sveisa, så kan du få problemer med at det blir for stivt og kan knekke/løsne ved turbo. Grunn til at det er bolter/klemmer med flere deler på eksosanlegget

If you want to change your sound for your skyline, u need to get rid of your OEM manifold to tube manifold, there is where you make the huge different =)
The turbo manifold?
@@kbautos3409 Yes. A tubular manifold such as a 6Boost will be much less restrictive and sound 100x better than the log style oem manifold

you should wrap it in heat wrap tape (selges på biltema og de felste mc nettsider)
Better, I put a resonator in mine and it gives a much better note. like the vids.
Yeah, I am thinking of doing something else to the exhaust also, maybe another muffler, resonator ✌🏼

Otherwise the sond life is compromised heavily

You should make it sound like the 2f2f r34 !
When I did my front/dump pipe on my r34 it just made it a tiny bit louder. The real sound difference will be manifold
you should really consider getting a tubular manifold!

Why Skylines has that angle in the middle bellow car? Turbo is on left side, exhaust tip too. Why that kink in the middle?
It’s made so the exhaust is not so low to the ground 🤟🏼
Hey bro, why does that stutter happen on 13:19 to 13:20 my Rb25det does that too, I changed the fuel filter already, I thinking of changing my fuel pump and fuel pressure too but not sure it’ll fix it .
I don´t know to be honest :) It`s strange. Maybe bad spark plugs, those hare swapped now. I assume with new downpipe maybe more flow needs a new tune? Don`t know.
@@FahreFilms it’s crazy because my R33 does that on high RPMs . I replaced spark plugs, I’m currently swapping out stock downpipe with the ISR downpipe so I’m awaiting results. My next thing is fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. I still have the stock ECU so I’m gonna have to wait for the tune until I finish with these upgrades.

The reason the fitment was “so bad” is because your old exhaust was custom.
It’s also really weird to see you own a skyline in Norway (which if I was told correctly is extremely expensive) but be putting budget/low quality parts on it.
After putting the downpipe on you sounded more Japanese
Can't believe you're doing full bolt on's and drives the car on stock ECU. I assume that engine is going to take quite a lot of damage. The only correct way is to make sure that you ALWAYS have a good map for your setup. Poor car
Hey man :) Stock ECU is going to upgrades pretty soon! Don`t use the car now, just waiting for parts :)
not an issue and you can raise boost on stock ecu if u want as well
