You can reduce or eliminate the flicker with a bridge rectifier in-line of your lighting harness. converts the AC to DC

Try saddle bags for extra fuel, should fit either side of seat which is where you want the weight.
Too much weight on floor panel would suck for wheelie plus the landing shock is much higher as its near front wheel.
I'd personally have a soft fuel bag in a rucksack and wear it so scooter unaffected but risk.

Picked up a set of those lights from Zooming Zuma because of your channel. So far they are awesome. any tips on focusing the beam with the adjustment screws? Mine flicker quite a bit when idling, is there any way to get rid of that?
no the flicker is normal at idle, that’ll happen on almost any stator charged motorcycle with leds
