video.gearlive.com - We tour the birthplace of Silicon Valley - the HP Garage. Check out this fantastic place, rich in tech history. We were lucky to be able to get in, as less then 200 people have ever visited it since HP purchased it back.

Of course the irony is, HP is no longer the measurement side of the business - that all went to Agilent when the company split in 1999. All the original HP T&M Archives went with Agilent, but the Garage (and house) was privately owned at the time.
I'm pleased HP bought it, as Agilent had no interest in preserving it.

Actually Packard won the coin toss to decide whose name would be first, but chose Hewlett Packard. That's kinda cool.
